Be aware Hong Kong is very crowded and space is at a premium. You get what you pay for so the room is tiny and don't look too close at the corners. Pipes and wires are on display and if you want an authentic up close look like I did this is a cool place to stay. Perfect for a group of friends on a budget but I would not recommend to couples or women travelling alone. Hong Kong is broadly very safe but the building would definitely feel a bit unsafe to some.

Perfect location in the centre of Hong Kong Firm but comfortable beds The important bits - the beds/shower/sink/toilet/towels - were all clean Towels and soap provided The host is very friendly and happy to help I thought the building was cool and soulful but I'd recommend googling "Mirador mansions" and it'll be very clear if it is your vibe or not

We did not stay at Ajit guest house. He could not accomodate us but he found a room for us on the floor above in another guest house. All my comments are about the HK Peace Guest House. They were very friendly. Just the room was small.

Amazing host. Helped me with his recommendations and proposed better transport to the airport. Even walk me to the bus stop wich was extremely kind and I'm thankful for that. It was possible to leave my luggage which was helpful for me as well. Really good service. For that money i didnt expect much. It was clean. Which was the most important feature for me. Thanks.

Ajit (owner) was accommodating to requests and overall quite warm. As the toilet (bathroom) is also the wetroom (shower) the area is constantly wet or damp and easily can corrode metal and form mould. The cleanliness of the stay could be improved by removing apparent mould.

Ajit guest house is generally clean, secured and safe. Bottled water and toiletries were provided and towels regularly changed during our stay.

Nothing in particular. At first you might be surprised by the unique atmosphere, but if you think it's dirty or something like that, you can just pay more and stay somewhere else. Actually, it's old and run-down, but the owner cleans it every day, so it's kept clean.

The location is excellent, the relative cost is reasonable, and it is perfect for those seeking the minimum necessary accommodation while experiencing the chaos of Hong Kong.

location is perfect for sightseeing as well as food hunting. Although the room is small, it is comfortable enough with essential facilities. The owner is helpful enough and friendly to help u out with ur questions. Perfect value for cracking few nights in the central tourist location of hong kong.

We had <19hrs in hk. It was clean and met our modest needs. The man had a lot of good tips and information about public transport, what to see and the city's ins and outs.

Difficult to find the hostel. When you arrive in front of the building, go in the apartment arcade under the building. It's like a concrete underground street. Take a elevator to 12nd floor. The hostel is in north-east side "F3".

Location of the building was good. From the airport, just take airport bus A21 and take off at Tsim Sha Tsui. It's about 45 min for 60 HKD (round ticket). Sheets looked clean. Disposable towel was provided for free. Though the room and restroom is super small but good for open-minded budget travelers.

As other reviewers said, the landlord was super attentive. This is one of the best guesthouses in the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui area.

Mr. J’s hospitality is superb!!!! He’s making his guests feel at home. Even gave us a tour and he is always available when we needed help. Always cleaning our room even if we didn’t ask to do it plus Hongkong’s water is very expensive but everyday, he is giving them for free. I guest will never forget the host who was treated kindly. I will recommend Ajit house to my friends that will visit Hongkong. THANK YOU SONA!!!
