Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The location was great and the room very clean and comfortable. The view of the Shing Mun river was nice too. It's close to malls so easily accessible to restaurants and shops. It was also a quiet neighbourhood.

AustraliaThe only thing that I think could improve hygiene was to replace the thick carpet from the walkway. It feels like the thick carpet is a perfect place for trapping moist, dirt and bacteria over time.
1. The location: Very convinient to all types of public transport. MTR, airport bus are within short walking distance. 2. The staff were courteous and helpful. 3. View from the room: my room was on 25th floor, overlooking the river and far from surrounding buildings, really enjoyed the privatcy and nice view. 4. Clean room: the room was very clean and new, spacious and bright.

AustraliaThe bathroom didn't have rails to hang up towels for reuse, so we had to use coat hangers. The air-conditioner was a bit noisy in the double bed room, so it needed to be switched off at night for sleeping. Throughout the room, there were signs for 'Go Green with Alva', and to put signs out for when you didn't want towels or linen changed. We mostly had our 'Do No Disturb' light on (intentionally), but each day, the housekeeping ladies kept tracking us down or (seemed to be) keeping an ear out for us leaving the room, to ask whether they could go in and do housekeeping. Most places we've stayed out, if you have 'Do Not Disturb' displayed, no one bothered you, but it did not seem to be the case for this hotel. This became a bit annoying as the days went by, it would be good if they respected the sign. The morning shuttle to Kowloon Station leaves earlier than the checkout time, so this was slightly inconvenient as we didn't want to wait until the afternoon, would be good if that shuttle time aligns to slightly after check out time.
[Room/Facilities] My family of four stayed here for 2 weeks in the Apartment Room, which was incredibly spacious for HK and met our expectations from the photos. The hotel is new, clean and modern. Each room has it's own TV, and the room has kettle, coffee pod machine, mini fridge and microwave. We chose this room because of the in room washing machine/dryer and this was put to good use during our stay. The bathroom was much larger than expected and it definitely felt like a luxury with double sinks and a large shower with 3 different shower head settings. The beds were relatively comfortable but slides a little on the base if you sit on the edge of the bed. The double bed had bed side tables on either side with night/reading light switches, 2 USB slots and a powerpoint. The gym and pool are at the top level, which provides nice scenery (the pool was closed for winter). There is a water filling machine in the hallway which was very convenient to fill up our drinking water each day. [Food] Adult included breakfast (kids under 5 free, with small 10% discount for other) was a bonus for days we needed eat earlier before travelling out. There were variety of options for breakfast (Western, HK, Japanese), catering to various tastes, but mostly the same each day. There's a lady that cooks eggs to your liking and makes bowls of soup noodles to your request (based on the selections for the morning). The 7/11 downstairs was also convenient for something different. [Getting Around] Convenient 8-10 minute walk to the nearest MTR station (Shek Mun or City One). We initially thought it would be far, but it became quiet convenient as our stay continued. The free hotel shuttle was also very useful (if we timed it correctly) to get you to the Shek Mun station or other listed locations. There is a large bike park/circuit opposite the hotel, which we sadly didn't get to utilise this time.

United KingdomThat there was nothing to put on door to say when it was convenient for housekeeping to enter room. A couple of awkward moments 😬 as I'm a little deaf and the bell was not very loud..........
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, lovely linen, and the room cleaned every day. Bed changed every 3 days. The room itself was a decent size. Lovely views. I have coeliac disease and, although I provided my own bread, with toaster bags, and crackers, there were eggs, ham, salad and melon etc which I felt safe to eat. I had no repercussions.

NetherlandsIn the room: There is no instructions or room rules in the room. We needed to call to the receptionist to ask questions. We had a long stay, so we needed to ask the staff how to get rid of the trash and change towels daily. The staff were very friendly and helpful but with some instructions on paper maybe a bit better. the toilet/ bathroom had only a slide door without a lock. Although the toilet had a door, there was no lock. The toilet area had not enough privacy. Accommodating with family is ok. The coffee was from illy, but it’s not tasty. No laundry basket provided for laundry. Facilities: The swimming pool was in maintenance without notification. Running and dry laundry costed HK$ 80. Its a bit expensive. We received a message after we paid the hotel fully that saying we still had to settle down the payments which worried me a bit. However, it was due to their technical problems. Do contact the hotel directly (not via booking.com) to get their direct confirmation.
The bed was super comfortable and the room was bigger than we expected. The staff were very friendly and polite and they helped you no matter what time you called them. We loved them having a water drinking machine that we didn’t need to boil or buy water daily. They also had a laundry area where we could run and dry our laundry just like we did at home. The shower was also very comfortable. The bathroom area had one door for the shower and one for the toilet so that someone could still go to toilet even though someone was in a shower. There was a great temperature control inside the room. There were sufficient amount of closets and drawers to keep your items in order. The room had a fantastic sound isolation because we hardly heard any sound made by the neighbours. It’s a very safe hotel as only the hotel guests were allowed to go to the rooms floors. The gym room provided towels and water and changing area. It’s an excellent hotel for long term and short term stay. Although we didn’t come with a dog, we saw they had an outdoor playground for dogs. It’s a very dog friendly hotel.
