We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaI forgot two items at the fridge on the checkout date, I called the hotel couple dates later asking if they have it, they said no... Well It's kind of my fault can't blame the hotel, but they should have better Lost & Found service.
Excellent location. Restaurants, shops, local market, metro, bus stops are in the walking distance, bus A10 to the airport is just at the corner of the street opposite. My room has partial sea view which was a surprise! Staffs are polite and professional.

United StatesThere is no hair conditioner 😭. There is space for front desk staff to improve their attitude. This hotel doesn't accept my Best Western membership, because I booked with booking.com, so I don't get my hotel stay rewards 😭. The location is good with easy to catch public transportation to attractions.

AustraliaWe stayed here as a family of 3 (parents with 4 year old) and found this to be suitable for us. Triple bed was key for us which is a rare find. Ensure you select non smoking room during your booking so you are on a non smoking floor. There are designated floors for smokers. As previously mentioned, rooms are old but clean. If you inspect closely, you will find stains on the ceilings and mold on the grout etc. However, everything else is clean enough. Beds are firm but this is typical of China hotels. Lots of storage and shelves in the room which made it easy for us to organised our clothes. Reception staff were friendly with us. We met housekeeping which were very friendly towards us and our daughter.

CyprusNothing . We have stayed here about 10 times and are happy with the old condition of the hotel but if you want modern glass and aluminium , then chose another hotel.
This is an older hotel , probably about 25 years old, so it has larger rooms than new Hong Kong hotels . We stayed in a Superior Double suite which is a bedroom and living area separated by a sliding glass door, it is excellent value by Hong Kong prices. The area is full of restaurants which we like, Korean, Thai ,Malaysian, Vietnamese, Western (Feather & Bone opposite the hotel ) as well as different Chinese like Sichuan, Cantonese, Noodle shops, Dumpling shops and fast food chains . Excellent and tram bus service in the main Des Voeux road , and taxis/Ubers stop in Water Street alongside the hotel .
