Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom was clean but dated. The room I had on my first stay of two nights had a window I could open slightly to get a bit of air flow in (obviously not clean air but at least a bit of natural air in!) but my 5 night return stay was sealed so felt very claustrophobic and air con blocks my sinuses so was not pleasant. Beds acceptable but hard, sheets were slightly scratchy. Only bothered going to breakfast once, extremely busy with people rudely pushing and kitchen could not keep up with demand so most of the self-serve containers were empty and when they did bring out more, people pushed in to get food so it was a very unpleasant experience! Little coffee shop in reception was fine and plenty of local food options around. Laundry service criminally expensive! I stayed in a total of 7 hotels throughout China during my just over 3 week trip, and this was the most basic with the least amount of amenities, several I stayed at even had complementary self-service laundry rooms but as I wasn’t in them for more than one night I didn’t have the time to use them within my schedule. Sod’s Law that I needed to be based in HK for the longest and I’d paid a non-refundable rate otherwise I’d not have return to this hotel for the 2nd longer stay at the end of my trip.
Easy to find with bus from airport stopping right outside, good bus options outside and also very close to Metro stop for ease of getting around. If you manage your expectations and you’re looking for cost effective basic accommodation with no extras and want to be based in the most densely populated area in the world, this is a good option. As a solo white woman travelling on business, I felt safe and was the only westerner I saw in the area and in the hotel during my two stays within two weeks totalling 7 nights.

SingaporeI had fully paid for my parents hotel room way before their trip via the booking.com app. Yet my parents were asked to use their own credit card to pay for their room again while the previous charge on my credit card was cancelled. Can you imagine the shock my elderly parents experience??? If they didn’t have credit card then how could they possibly pay for the hotel stay???
None, it has been an h pleasant experience

United KingdomOne of the beds was uneven, it leaned to the space between two beds. When you lay down you would feel your body slide to one side. I got some rushes on my knees after kneeing on the carpet.
The location is very good. The hotel is close to bus stops and not far from Prince Edward MTR station. The staff were very friendly. The room is a bit smaller than expected. It looks clean. The beddings were comfortable.

The hotel staff are honest. My mom forget her wallet at the room when we went out in the morning and we came back at night with the wallet still in the place where she left it. She was worried the whole time but we can’t go back sooner or even call the hotel. Anyways, the wallet is there and my mom is really happy. Thank you so much. My mom is at room 541. Please extend our thanks to the staff in charge of cleaning the room. We are so grateful to her. 🥰

United KingdomThe room was dirty; the carpet was stained and disgusting. The bathrooms were 1 star at best; the shower was more suited for cleaning pigs than people. The view from my room faced dirty rusty industrial pipes from the Victorian era. The area surrounding the hotel stank of dried fish, rotting chicken carcasses and over boiled cabbage. I would rather eat a bowl of spiders, or spoon my eyes out than stay in this depressing dirty place again.
Only plus side was that the hotel was located close to the metro station.

United KingdomMy room was clean but it wasn't a non-smoking room which I had booked and it had an adjoining room which was incredibly noisy and people who smoked, their smoke came through into my room and even with ear plugs it was impossible to sleep. I moved room 3 times as if there were smokers in the next door room, the smoke filters into the adjoining rooms. The hotels states they will charge you for cleaning a non- smoking room if you smoke in it; I'm not sure how you could tell the difference.
The hotel has exceptionally friendly & helpful staff (reception and house-keeping). It's an ideal location for exploring beautiful Hong Kong, it's close to the MTR and a variety of great places to eat. My room was clean and the gym was immaculate and well equipped.

United States1. The temperature of the water fluctuates when showering. It goes from hot to ice cold then back to hot. 2. It has a Chinese Restaurant on the 2nd floor which creates delay catching the elevator during meal time. 3. The carpet in the room has lots of stains. 4. The room is relatively small and it has limited drawers.
The location of the hotel is excellent. There are lots of food to eat around the hotel. The Prince Edward mtr station is just across the street. The cleaning staff was EXCELLENT!!!
