Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong KongComing to a hotel in summer, we expected a pool and part of the reason we booked but the pool was under renovations which was disappointing. I booked through booking.com which gave me the option to choose two twin beds or a double. I chose double for me and my partner. Upon arrival when given our rooms is was two twin beds, we went down to ask for a change but they said choosing double beds was upon availability which was not informed of when booking. Staff were not very nice at all telling us to just “push the beds together” not even offering assistance with this. Without even trying to check, the man said there are no double beds available. Now we were stuck with a hotel with no pool, two twin beds and to make it worse our room reeked of cigarettes, we had to spray perfume around to make it even a little better. We had to reorganise our whole room to get the beds together since there was a nightstand between the two beds. In the morning, we went to a just as disappointing breakfast buffet. This breakfast fit into a small corner only having a few options which were not even appealing. Chicken nuggets, warm watermelon, I went to get some juice and found lipstick on my cup, extremely disgusting and really ended our experience bad knowing I’ll never come back to or recommend this hotel. We were just trying to have a nice staycation and were left extremely disappointed.
It is only around a 5 min bus from the centre of tsuen wan, gave many options for dinner and shopping around.

United KingdomThey didn't clean the room (e.g. remove rubbish, supply tea and coffee, and replace used towels) for long stay (over 7 days) unless requested. I had to call reception every time I wanted the room done.

United KingdomNot a double bed room. Only made the room on Mondays and Thursdays. The road walking to the MTR is a bit dangerous because have to pass two busy petrol stations with lots of vehicles going in and out.
Room size is alright. It's easy to find a table in the Chinese restaurant. The location is convenient for MTR. The staff members are polite.

Hong KongThe room is not so well cleaned. The corners of the bathroom are not cleaned as well. Besides, the room sound proofing is not well enough, so at night there would be hearing noise from next door or outside the door.
Good location. The size of the room is ok.

SingaporeKwai Fong has few buses that could reach the hotel but the concierge staff doesn't really know about it when I asked for help. Download KMB apps will be helpful. During my 10 nights stay, there were only 2 times house-keeping. According to the hotel rules, only Tuesday and Friday will provide house keeping service. We supposed to have 2 bottles of distilled water provided daily but we only got it when we asked few times and tipped the house keeping lady. The air purifier was in red light to request filter changed, however, after 3 days request, house keeping said technician will in charge changing filter, front desk said it's house keeping's responsible about it. Nobody bother, end of story, during my 10 night stay, the air purifier still has a red light on. Maybe the customer, myself shall pay and buy a filter online to change it?!
My booking was without breakfast so no comment about the F&B in the hotel. The cafe looks nice from outside. The room was big compared to other hotel rooms in HK. My room is facing the main road without blockage. 6-10 mins walk from Ta Wo Hau MTR station Exit B. Take the life from Exit B and walk over the overhead bridge. Then walk straight will reach the hotel. No raining is fine, but I experienced heavy rain without shelter. It was not very convenient for people with wheel chair too because the hotel is located at a slope. 7-11 convenient store is next to the hotel, however, it's not 24/7 so have to be quick if you want to buy anything at night. Free shuttle bus to Kwai Fong Metropolis Plaza is a bonus. However, taking the shuttle bus back to hotel from Kwai Fong will waste about an hour on the shuttle bus because it will go to 2 more pick up/drop off point at Tsuen Wan. And you have to book the shuttle bus with the concierge for peak hours. Check-in counter staff at night was great and friendly.

United KingdomSome staff were really nice, housekeeping team was friendly. However, miscommunication and certain member of staff attitude was not good at all. Asked for water and towels, didn't get it until I asked a few times. The male member of staff who works night time was out right rude, I work in hospitality as well, I know how it works, that was not on. Checking out was done by him too, I was checking out my room with my brother's room respectively, he didn't greet us and assumed we were in the same room, no goodbyes either.
Room was nice, easy access and facilities were pretty good

Hong KongAll the facilities are closed and even for the cafe serving breakfast is closed too! You can only order food by room service. Besides, there is no restaurant nearby, the 7-11 next to the hotel was also closed before 9pm. So, except staying in your room, there is nothing you can do within the hotel.
The price is affordable and the room size is reasonable too.
