Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaIn comparison with past visits to HK, staff in restaurant were less versed in English.
Had a club floor room. Everything we needed. Breakfast was good in the lounge, and snacks and cocktails also good in the evenings.

SingaporeRoom needs renovation. Very outdated. Room a little small. Although the hotel is near the MTR station, it's still a little troublesome to push the luggage and stroller along the busy streets and uneven pavements to the hotel.
Clean. Near 7eleven and supermarket.

ThailandMy review is for the Club rooms (High floor, 39 for me). I enjoyed my stay very much, and I will come back. The hotel has a wonderful view. The staff is very nice and helpful (Thank you, Jojo and the team). The location is great, close to MTR, Five Guys, Starbucks, and Watson. It was easy to move inside Hong Kong from this hotel. The room was great, the pillows and mattress were comfortable. The food was good, a bigger variety could have been better, but I was still satisfied with what I ate.

United StatesRestaurant on the 39th floor, I thought the food was rather mediocre. Considering the price (even with 20% discount as a hotel guest) was not worthwhile. I had Lobster Bisque and Sauteed Chicken for dinner. The latter dish was not hot. Both lacked taste and definitely needed salt. The Eggs Benedict I had for breakfast was almost inedible. By far the WORST Eggs Benedict I have had in 50 years. Breakfast buffet overall was fine. The kitchen quality DOES NOT meet a high class hotel standard, especially given the price. Check-in was extremely slow. There is SO MUCH paperwork at this hotel as if digitalization was unknown. Each of the guests were staying 20-30 minutes checking in. (I didn't know that I could have checked-in on the Club Floor ((41st) which probably would have been better.
Outstanding view of Hong Kong from my own room as well as from the Club Floor. Service overall was very good and the staff was helpful.

United KingdomThe sea view was tiny and blocked by its own building. The room has aged and you would see things old and broken. Due to the new hotel policies around the use of plastic in HK, toothbrushes, water and some amenities all come at an extra charge, while other hotels in HK will make the extra step to supply a different these things using other materials, for a five star hotel, I would expect the same.
The room was spacious, there was a multiple use charger for phones, a big bathtub.

United StatesWe did not like the bathroom on our last stay (November 11-14, 2024) as my husband and I are in our 70s. We have to climb up the bathtub which is kind of "unfriendly" for seniors! We rather have the bathroom that we can walk in and take showers. The one like room 1227 that we stayed in from November 1-9, not the one we stayed in (room #807) from November 11-14, 2024.
This is the fourth time we stay with Harbour Grand. First time in 20122, second time 2017, third time November 1-9. We went for a short trip in ChinaNovember 9-11 and we return to Harbour Grand November 11-14 before leaving back home to U.S.A. We like the location which is close to the MTR. The staffs are friendly and professional. We had lunch in the Chinese restaurant with friends. Food is good.
