United KingdomRoom booked for 2 adults + 1 child = 1 double or 2 twin beds. So all 3 of you expected to sleep together in 1 bed if its double bed option. 5 star hotel, ok. This is not clear in description. Extra bed for extra payment. Early check-in (paid) doesn't exist. Breakfast is beyond standard. We felt cafes around hotel for breakfast would have been so better option. When we mistakenly took croissant from "elite" breakfast section, waiter immeditely took it back in non polite way and bin it. Prepare to queue up for breakfast hall, 10-15 mins is normal. If checkout early, breakfast box dont bother - it is sandwich with butter ham and cheese. And apple. Room is good size for HK, but needs renovation, bathroom needs renovation. Pool is like 2 star hotel and was closed because of typhoon. Lobby is like from Gatsby film, felt dated. Some hkd5000 deposit asked to pay on arrival for potential future expenditure, said no and was told ok no need. View in Room is great but not clear difference between victoria harbour view and skyline view. We were in victoria harbour view, but there were rooms with better view Coffee machine: 3 capsules, out of which 2 are decaf. Hotel feels very overcrowded. Feel like wrong choice as there were many 5 star options for same price.
Hotel is close to Tsim Sa Tsui and lots of transport around.

United KingdomI Had booked in Advance for 5 Nights, I did not know that its a non refundable booking and when i arrived Hongkong and checked same hotel prices on same dates it was much cheaper on booking.com i wrote an e mail to booking.com but no reply and no other way to contact This is totally unfair that advance booking is being charged more and ont he spot booking was almost half the price. I requested hotel to cancel the booking and book me on the new booking on same hotel and same booking.com just new booking but they refused to cancel and booking.com has no way to connect. I WASTED MONEY INSTEAAD I SHOULD HAVE DONE A NO SHOW AND BOOKED SOME OTHER HOTEL THRU ANY OTHER SITE.

United KingdomI found the hotel to be very dated, the room had a humid smell to it despite being a premium room, the furniture was chipped in multiple places, the coffee machine needed a lot of fiddling with to work. I was also disappointed that club intercontinental was closed for refurbishments and I was informed of this pretty last minute when it was already too late to change my plans. The temporary replacement they had in place - to cordon off a bit of the cafe - simply doesn’t cut it. It was awkward and loud and no view. Not even close to club intercontinental.
The view from the Victoria Harbour view room was fantastic. It’s a side view of the harbour because of the geography of the island, but a fanatic view nevertheless.

United KingdomThis hotel looks like it was last renovated in the 90’s. The carpets are full of stains, the rooms outdated, dusty and with air conditioning that was probably fitted 40 years ago. I actually felt sick at night from the dust and grime being pumped into my room. The food is awful, room service inedible, Tiffany’s bar inedible, breakfast ok I guess. And it’s freezing cold! I understand that the summer is very hot in Hong Kong but in February when it’s about 12 degrees outside do we really need the air con on full blast in every corner of the hotel ? I hated everything about my stay and if I had not organised client meetings there for my 2nd day,and didn’t want to mess them around changing locations, I would have moved on 2nd day. (My clients also didn’t eat their food either which was pretty embarrassing)

Every time we go to Hongkong we stay at that hotel - it is a wonderful hotel with excellent service and super friendly staff. The rooms are all well equipped and if you have a room with harbour view - it can´t be better - and beds are exceptionally comfortable. Also the location of the hotel is perfect: nearby the harbour front and by walking distance to the ferry station. Also nearby very good restaurants and bars and shopping malls - so everything is perfect there. We for sure come back into this hotel
