We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, although a bit noisy. Lounge was excellent with service to match. Staff were courteous and dedicated.

Great hotel with large clean rooms & amazing views of the harbour ! The beds/ pillows are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also good. The service is prompt. Location is at Tsim sah shui the best place to stay at HK. Taxis are readily available at the hotel gate.

ChinaThe staff are angry, impolite and should all be fired starting with Phoenix. These people have no direction no sense of what it is to work at an establishment like intercontinental. The shenzhen intercontinental may be even older so I'm not yet blaming the poor furniture and terrible choice of quality of the furniture, yet the people make you feel welcome from checking to check out. If they make a mistake they don't bring 3 fruits to the room you're changing and leave it it there. They prepare a room with the fruits and offer a formal apology. At some point I just told my wife there is no point complaining about the service, it's just a bad team. Maybe no incentives in their job or they been doing that so long that they hate it so much and they take their anger on people who can afford their terrible overpriced service. I don't even feel like writing about this place, it's really terrible and coming from Seychelles knowing what true service is, makes you just even more frustrated. Oh and on the last day my wife couldn't find her Victoria secrets night dress. She tried to convince herself Maybe she took it off in the bathroom and it magically fell in the bin and someone threw it away! We said nothing as we didn't want to come and complain about underwear but if you see clothes in the bin which I assume would be hanging over that(tiny) bin, you'd better ask me if that was trash before you decide wear it! If Booking.com allowed zero, this place would be it!
Nothing! To start, this hotel offers money changing services in the lobby and I had Chinese currency and the attendant at the club said with a very rude face that they don't accept the currency and I had to personally walk to another part of the hotel to change it and get back to them. So I kindly reminded them that if you offer money changing services, why not you accept my money like any 5* establishment in HK and later return my deposit as HK$ no matter the rate!? I successfully checked in a dusty room with filt that looked like feces, as you can see in the photos. I received a very poor apology and a promise to change room while I dine in the club for 45 minutes and Noone came to show us the new room, so we went on a stroll, and came back to see a note. We called the manager and viewed another dusty room with a better view and more dirty furniture as you can see in the picture. The whole hotel need closing and the staff needs to get formal training. We ordered a steamed egg in the club, it took them 10 minutes to come back and tell me that they first don't have the ingredients, so I told them the way I cook it. I may be wrong, but I use one egg, a little milk and a small pot which I add some water in and cover to steam! The lady then told me that she doesn't have the right tools!! In the morning I ordered a boiled egg, for my son again and the attendant gave me options with minutes 12 being well done, and he brought 2 not 1, not ready eggs! Why even bother to waste my time and you can't deliver eggs! I ordered then a pizza to.the room, the margarita, the base.of any pizza even that tasted poorly. This is not my first intercontinental, I've been to the Shanghai and the shenzhen even zhuhai, all top level service and good quality value for money food!

IndiaThere were no view . My room was facing a hotel wall . This was the worst view in my life during travel. Secondly , with a price of HKD 4000 for two days looking at a wall was expensive .I requested the reception desk to give me a room with a view but they take the guests for granted .

BulgariaOn booking.com they advertize the room as 30 sq meters, but actully the room is half size, about 15. So for this price, it is not worth booking this hotel. Attaching real pictures of the room.
Clean room, breakfast is very good, internet speed is fast. The swuimming pool is a bit small, but water is warm and nice. Location was also convenient for me.
