Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe rooms are looking very tired and and in need of some maintenance - it did seem like this might be happening to neighbouring rooms when we arrived. Not for people wanting to hang out in their room. Use it as a base and it'll be just right.
Budget accommodation in Kowloon. Jordan Station (Rail) right outside and bus stops within 100m. Jordan Rd and Nathan Rd crossway. An easy walk to the waterfront, Temple St night markets and plenty of restaurants, bars nearby. Lovely staff who were very helpful.

SerbiaThe bathroom was so small that you wet the whole bathroom when you showered but we didn't mind that much, it was still ok. The internet was somewhat slow and many times you had to reconnect. Otherwise it was a very comfortable stay.
If you take into account that it's very difficult to find cheap accommodation in Hong Kong, especially during the Chinese new year when we visited, then this hostel is one of the best options. It's well connected with the airport ( several buses stop at the Jordan road ), you're right in the city, no need to spend an hour in the metro, it was simple but clean, functional ( hot shower worked great), even nicely furnished. The lady who worked there was very friendly and deserves a 10.

GermanyThe accommodations were rather dated and in need of refurbishment. The room's decor and furnishings appeared to be quite old and worn.
Super friendly. Nice location. Station for bus to airport and metro directly in front.

FinlandThe place was wery hard to find, cause two securitymen on the doorway said that there is not a hostel called that there. Best way to find the hostel is to remember, that the hostel entrance is 3 m from the subway entrance.
Both two lifts worked well and they were fast. Exellent location 3 meters from subway entry.

ThailandI am okay with the size of the room, but it has molds and maybe they forgot to clean it properly. Used toothbrush was left in the toilet. 🥲
The staffs were so nice. And the location is really accessible.

BulgariaThe room was not very clean and getting fresh air is a bit difficult (restaurants on the ground floor emit smells).
The location of the hotel is very convenient, directly next to an MTR station. It has the usual layout for SE Asian hotels, and all the main conveniences.

GermanyThe building itself is very run down. Only one available elevator that has seen better days. Depending on the time one has to wait quite a while. Not sure how safe the building is in terms of safety standards
Quite a spacious room for HK standards, within walking distance to many attractions, metro station right in front, clean

JapanThe place was in the 13th floor of the building. And three from the four elevators in the building were out of order, so I had to wait in the long line of waiting the elevator every day.
The staffs were friendly and could speak English and Mandarin for those who don’t speak Cantonese, it was a big help.

United KingdomThe building had a dodgy feel about it and would've made me feel nervous as a solo female traveller, but on chatting to people they all seemed friendly. Getting up and down the floors was difficult as there was only 1 working lift which often had a long queue. There were stairs but while we were there they were having a trash issue which affected the smell on the stairs but this seemed to be fixed when we were leaving. The rooms would've been pretty small for 2 people but we got a room each and, although it was still a small space, it was doable for 1 person. The bathroom was fairly small as the shower area was not cordoned off and I had to sit sideways on the toilet because there wasn't enough to be room for my legs at the front. But all in all, doable for a budget place to sleep and store luggage.
The location was excellent! Right next to Jordan Station which takes you anywhere. Centre of town near markets, shops, Kowloon park etc. For a budget trip where you're out exploring most of the day, this place works perfectly. 7 11 and other handy shops right next to the hotel. Air con and cleanliness was very good (only saw one small cockroach but that's hard to avoid in Hong Kong).

MyanmarWe took room with the window. However, we can’t see the daylight if we are closing the window. Good- nobody can see us , bad- we missed the golden morning hours to go out because we got up late.
It’s close to train station & easy to access. The staff is good. The place is good and reasonable for budget travelling , just for sleep & bath and out the whole day.I feel safe.
