Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere were a few things that I wish had been better that really would have earned full marks. First of all, the hotel is actually a bit difficult to get to if you were somewhat fooled by Google Maps about how close it is from the nearest MTR stations (which are Hung Hom or Whampoa). It is certainly walkable, although, it is a shame that such a luxury hotel did not have any signs at the stations to make it clearer on how to walk there. We did try to get a taxi from Hung Hom, but could not find the right taxi rank until we had already learned how to walk there. But the exercise is good, and walking around the neighbourhood was not really a problem. The second thing, which is a little surprising, was that the rooms were not as well soundproofed as I had expected for such a large hotel. It was only our first night that we stayed, but there was quite a racket from the guests who were immediately next door to us. I suspect it was probably because of the "connecting door" that existed between both our rooms, albeit locked, which allowed for the transmission of noise. But I did contact the service desk and let them know that the guests next door were being a disturbance, especially when it was far too late at night, and they were able to deal with it promptly, and we were able to sleep well. Finally, we did not get the chance to use the swimming pool as unfortunately, it was out of commission during our stay - it would have been lovely to have tried it (and we will consider it for next time). But there was also the odd curiosity, that whilst there are clearly separate facilities for men and women, we were somewhat surprised that some facilities were only available for only men or women. For example, only men had the sauna, but women had the steam room, so it meant that whilst my wife and I might not have been together, neither of us would also get the full experience. Such a shame.
The Kerry Hotel is right on Kowloon bay near Hung Hom pier and without doubt, it was worth paying the extra to get an ocean view from our room! It was just so nice to be able to enjoy seeing the city skyline of Hong Kong Island across the bay, and also to see the lights not only of the skyscrapers, but also the traversing ferries too. The room was extremely spacious as well, including the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the mini "food court" at the Dockyard that was available in the hotel as it did mean that there were more than the usual options when it come to food and refreshments. However, we did also try their buffet breakfast at the Big Bay Cafe on one morning, and it was certainly a nice treat with a wide selection of cuisines, and not too busy, so it was easy to get the food you wanted without too much of a wait. Very relaxing too and I look forward to staying here again.

United StatesSincerely, nothing.
I cannot say enough about my stay at this hotel. The room was gorgeous. The housekeepers were outstanding. They took notice of my coffee habits and adjusted the selection they gave me without asking. They made our stay so comfortable and made us feel very taken care of. Thank you. The staff was very professional and attentive at all times of day. The facilities are remarkably well kept and simply beautiful. I used the ferry out of Hung Hom harbor every day, even though it runs less frequently than the TST ferry. The restaurant offerings arediverse and perfect. We ate at the Cantonese restaurant one night and their service and Peking Duck were perfection. We also ate at the Dockyard multiple times as I was a mom traveling with her 8 year old daughter and this offering provides multiple dinner options and the opportunity to play Foosball and video games. Not only would I stay at Kerry Hotel again, I look forward to it, and I will rate other establishments against the high bar they have set.

ChinaCosts a bit much but honestly it's fine considering how good the rest of the hotel is. The hotel requires a deposit of 4000HKD which after a day since checkout is still not refunded. I'll check with the hotel but I wouldn't hold this against them though.
The sea view is awesome, simply awesome. The hotel isn't exactly facing Hong Kong island but I can see the BOC building. The pool isn't on the top floor but it does have a great view. The Red Sugar bar also has a live DJ playing amazing music on an outdoor terrace. The hotel chef also makes amazing omelets.

PolandWe were there for a short stay. Unfortunately only one night. However, if we had stayed longer, there was no space in the room, for example, a wardrobe to put things from suitcases.
Thank you for preparing a birthday surprise for my wife. We love you. Hotel with the highest standards. Staying there is a pure pleasure. Rooms sufficient for rest and relaxation. Bathroom equipped with shower and bathtub and top quality cleaning products. I did not check the TV channels although the large TV screen tempted. Instead, I looked out the window through which there is an amazing view of the bay and the illuminated Hong Kong. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The staff is visible but subtle and friendly. In the hotel you can admire the paintings of great artists such as Zhang Xiaogang. Breakfast .... pure madness. Everything you can think of is available. The pool overlooking HH is breathtaking.

Hong KongThe club itself is a bit dull. I realize that most club features are now in Red Sugar, however, the club itself should at least have beers available during non-cocktail hour times. We were a bit disappointed by that. Some hotels that have club access offer alcoholic beverages at all times.
The view was great. The room was nice and big. Comfortable bed. Overall, very happy with the quality of the room for the price. Afternoon tea was good as was the buffet breakfast. The cocktail hour was also nice.

United KingdomThe hotel is a bit of a walk from the nearest metro stations and main shopping districts, but does have the Hong Hum ferry terminal very close by
Spacious and well-provisioned room with a stunning view over the harbour; generously proportioned public space; good bars and restaurants; overall, a sense of luxury at what (from a UK budget perspective) seemed very fair room rates

NetherlandsThe staff although attentive and polite, seemed to lack a bit of warmth. Maybe I was so busy and they were so busy, that I didn’t really get much of a chance to interact with them, but I just feel they could be a bit friendlier and outgoing.
Location is beautiful with a stunning view across the Bay towards the Island. The rooms are very nicely designed and decorated, bed very comfortable and excellent views. The gym was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, in terms of equipment and the service at the lobby lounge was excellent. Very close by to amenities and transport. Beautiful outdoor area and pool (although I didn’t get to use it myself), as well as 3 different very nice restaurants; the view from Red Sugar was outstanding.

SwitzerlandWe had a small problem with a noise from other guests having too loud party outside, but the manager handled the situation extremely seriously and supported us way beyond saying only ‘sorry’. Appreciated all the efforts which made our stay a great experience.
Located at Kowloon’s waterfront with a great view of Hong Kong. Robust breakfast, nice swimming pool and fantastic food choices with live music (the band is amazing!) at the ground floor.

Very clean, location is good, gym has many choices and staff were cleaning the machine all the time. At my last night, I need to print out a very important document urgently, one of the staff ( Kay) helped me with patient and caring in the middle of the night. Very appreciate her help!

SingaporeThe tourists it attracts didn't seem like the ones you see in Central or Causeway Bay or TST. But other than being a little rude, e.g. not holding the lift, everything was fine. Restaurant-wise, the Dockyard was disappointing, and the bar, Red Sugar, was alright, but lacked a soul. Nothing bad, but could've been more memorable.
Walkable distance to the Coliseum for a concert. Close to Whampoa for good local food and an MTR stop. Lovely view. Definitely would stay here again.
