We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThis is a fantastic hotel in a city full of fantastic hotels! It's very understated but impeccable. We are a family of 3 with a 4 year old toddler. They provided shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for kids, as well as a little pack of activities on arrival. The extra kid bed was a good size for even an adult to sleep on. At breakfast, staff made the effort to talk to our child and brought her fruit or drinks that she particularly liked (she loved those raspberries!) We felt very welcome. Check in was smooth and quick. We waited in their orangery with a drink while they sorted everything out for us. It was extremely professional. The hotel was very quiet in general, but especially in the evening, which was very important to us. The room was a good size for HK and it was throughly clean. The breakfast was exceptional.I really liked that the portions were on the smaller side because it discouraged waste. I've been to hotels that have huge buffets and greedy people take mountains of food that they don't even eat. This is not like that. The buffet selection is smaller than large chain hotels, but it's very well done. Everything I ate was delicious. The hotel encourages sustainability and it's products support that. Finally the location is the best we've stayed in during our numerous trips to HK. It's walking distance to countless cafes, restaurants and shops. The area is buzzing! We'd stay again any time we go back to HK.

SingaporeI have stayed at the Lanson Place hotel in the past, pre-Covid and I always enjoyed the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised on this stay that Lanson Place went through a renovation, which has greatly enhanced the hotel, it's layout - reception and lobby is now located on ground level, instead of 3 (or 4th?) level. The new bar with lounge and restaurant on the 4th level is wonderful, and rooms do not disappoint, they remain very well appointed. The staff is very engaging, professional and congenial. I highly recommend this hotel.

There must have been 5 staff in the concierge/front desk area at anyone time and I am sure they had some form of radar that alerted them to open doors/lift for guests coming and going. I like the room. It's not very spacious, but it's comfortable, clean, and fairly soundproof. The breakfast options are limited but delicious. My kids enjoyed it. The location is convenient, with many restaurants and shopping places just a short walk away. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Hong Kong.
