Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesWe were not provided with the two rooms we paid for on the first night because (we were told) that there was a problem with the second room. Luckily, we were provided with a family room for the first night.
It was excellently located but the fist floors of the building was occupied with market like small stalls and quite noisy.

BrazilThe only thing I didn't like was that the room didn't have a window, but who needs windows when you can go out and see the city? I usually only went back there to sleep, so it was fine. It's really low cost compared to many more expensive hotels in HK.
Very well located, close to Victoria Harbour (Tsim Sha Tsui). The host Lisa and her assistant (Angielyna) were very helpful. The room is very clean! On the ground floor there are many Indian, Pakistani and other shopping malls, although many people are scared by this, I think this is what makes the experience unforgettable. I want to come back soon!

RussiaNo windows in the room, too small. Not easy to find. The lift to the 12th floor is through the market on the ground floor of the building.
In the city center. Good for a short stay or night lay over only. Close to the bus station (N21) to the airport.

Very nice hotel, just be ready to the super-tiny rooms without a window! But it’s very clean and well-maintained: the shower is hot, the condition works fine, there are enough hooks, and even the slippers! Good wifi, hot water, and the fridge. The location is great! Our huge thanks to Angeline, who made this stay so cozy!

FranceIt's very small, ours had no windows so we really felt like we were in a cage.
Very well located, but perhaps a little expensive for 2 people for the size of the rooms. It's very small, ours had no windows so we really felt like we were in a cage. It was clean and well located which was the plus. It was clearly a room just for sleeping and washing but we didn't feel like staying longer. The host was kind to us.

BulgariaBe prepared for the lack of space in the room, although it’s normal for Hong Kong, if you have a bigger suitcase you will have to slide it under the bed so you could get in the room.
The price is good, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is amazing.

CanadaThe room was advertised as a double. I don't think the bed was a double, maybe a large single. 2 people would have been crowded. No room for luggage, the room only had enough space to walk in and close the door, and the bed took up the entire space. So you end up with your luggage on the bed.
Location on 12th floor of Chung King Mansion (a busy shopping centre, but the floor was quiet) Bed was very comfortable. The shower had hot water. Drinking water, both hot and cold were available at the reception area. Receptionist Angeline was nice and very helpful. I took the stairs down a couple of times and was happy to see that it was clear of debris! Important for safety in case of a fire or need to evacuate!!! The people who smoke in the stairwells should pick up their butts.

United Arab EmiratesThe room was very clean and comfortable, good enough space for a family of 3, even 4. It was well maintained, my special requests were accommodated (early check in, late check out - for a reasonable fee). The Filipina staff, Ate was very kind and accommodating. And Ms. Lisa, who owns the place, is also sooo warm and kind and extended her help for my requests. I will definitely pick this place again to stay in when I go back to Hongkong.

PhilippinesIt is situated in Chungking Mansions where it can look and feel sketchy at first but you just have to be polite when declining "offers" as well as being capable when navigating inside. I suggest a DIY navigating rather than look for assistance for less chances of making trouble.
Location, price, cleanliness, and accomodating receptionist. Located at Tsim Sha Tsui where some tourist attractions, shopping malls, metro stations, and bus stops are nearby. You get what you paid for meaning its cheap price for an expensive place will unsurprisingly yield a small room.
