Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandTheir breakfast wasn’t great. They had plenty of options, beautiful fresh fruit but the cereal was gone off and the bread was stale. Some of the cook items looked like they had been reheated rather than cooked fresh. Not a major disappointment but for a top class hotel I was a little surprised
Exceptionally friendly staff, very clean and comfortable.

United KingdomThere was a big trade fair next door and the lobby was packed with luggage. It felt really uncomfortable. We had a long day and wanted to have a bite to eat but it felt like a thoroughfare. Given that the Expo is next door this may happen often. I felt the place was incredibly anonymous - staff were nice but they really did not have any warmth.i think they were taxed by the amount of people. Do not bother getting a sea view room - it is a room to an industrial area across the sea.
The room was quite large. Staff were nice. We had some problems with noise and they came to help.

TurkeyThe air ventilation system of the room is not good. There is no enough fresh air in the rooms. The windows are locked. So you cannot get fresh air in the room. Even ı asked to open the window they request me to sign a document says if anything happens ı am the reponsible one:) I dont know what can be happens the window is opening only a little. Some of the pillows were not cleaned enough. They are selling water after 4 small bottles. This is not enough for a day. Water is the essantial need. How they offers this to people ı cant understand. Is the water limited in Hong Kong? There are a lot of noise in the rooms. Upstairs, next room sounds are in the room. The next room has a door to yours:))
The location is perfect for the Asia World Fair Complex. The shutles are very good for going to Airport and Shops. The shuttle times are every 30 munites. That is also perfect.

Hong KongPoor quality fitting out in both room and public areas like a 3 star hotel designed 20 years ago. The shuttle bus driver watched TV with loud volume while he was driving. He did not help any guests to unload the luggage from the cabin underneath the bus ended up all guests needed to claw into the cabin on their knees to search the bags.

SingaporeThe check in process was rather slow as there is only 1 person doing the check in at the counter when there is quite a queue. Waited for quite long before my turn to check in. The pillow also was quite soft to my liking.
Free shuttle service from Hong Kong airport to the hotel is a plus point.

MacauOn the whole the stay could have been worse. One or two things were not up to par, specially, for a 5 star hotel. The first was that on one occasion we asked one of the attendants that was at the front door behind a lectern of sorts if he would help call a taxi, to which he promptly replied “I am sorry, but I am busy” (while organizing an assortment of boxes). So, we left him to his own devices and called an Uber, instead. The next day, at the bar (Velocity bar), I was signaling to one of the waiters at the bar that I was ready to order, to which he replied shouting rather aggressively and out of the blue “wait a minute, please”. Regarding the room, it was pleasant enough, however during the night I could hear a low humming sound that came from within the room, but could not find it, also the stationary lights of the bedside table were bright and I could not find a way to dim it, other than covering it with some laminated papers that were in the room. Also, the duvet was very warm and uncomfortable. All this made for less than pleasant night. For a 5 star hotel, much needs to be improved.
Property was conveniently located for our purposes. The view was rather nice

United StatesThe wet floor by the door that caused my knee injury that continues four weeks later.
I arrived near midnight and left at 7:30am so I didn't have much of an experience. The room was big, clean and well appointment. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The shuttle to and from the airport in good time. However, as I was leaving in the morning I slipped and fell on the wet floor by the exit. I twisted my knee. Had a difficult and painful 24-hour of flying to get home. Nothing broken no ligaments torn but the consistent pain continues four weeks later.

SwitzerlandI‘m a returning guest. Unfortunately staff was below expectations this time. Check in took very long (I still don’t know why exactly). The first night (around 10 pm) an employee knocked on my door twice and proceeded to open the door immediately afterwards. I had the ‚don‘t disturb‘ sign activated and hadn’t ordered anything. This is an absolute no-go. Staff at breakfast was not organized well, the lady assisting me hardly new any English.
The location is super convenient for attending events at AsiaWorld Expo. The rooms are big compared to other accommodations in HK (but also rather dark and outdated).

United StatesThere is no shower curtain in the bath tab. The floor of bathroom is flooding after taking shower. A housekeeper came to bathroom without any cleaning tool after we requested cleaning flooding floor. She mopped the floor around toilet with unused bath towels in the bathroom, instead of a mop. It is unbelievable practice in a five-star hotel.
The location is near the airport, which is good for customers arriving in Hong Kong late. Room is spacious and comfortable.
