Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

when making booking was quoted $240 by Booking.com but credit card was charged $280 - which was misleading and disappointing! Contacted both Booking.com & hotel but no one taking any action

All was well , no issues .
Great hotel. Clean , good location ( near Jordan subway and very close to temple street). Staff always nice and attentive. The room clean and great size. Breakfast very good with many different options.

There was a weird smell every time we flushed the toilet like a smell from the open drainage system but we just bought a can of air freshener and that really helped!
The location was great on Nathan road, it was easy accessible via public transport and below there is a convenience store and various cafes/restaurants so you won’t have to worry about being hungry! Buffet breakfast was good and had a variety of hot and cold foods. The room was quite spacious as well and the beds were nice and firm - which I particularly like.

The hotel is too expensive. It is a bit run down. Noisy air conditioning.
Early check in at 8:30 am was possible. The hotel is a bit run down, however, it is clean.

I had excellent pleasure of staying in Nathan hotel from the moment of check in, room facilities, cleanliness, friendly staffs & housekeeping and location, all of these out of my expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, providing all the necessary information about the hotel’s amenities and services. They even offered a upgrading my room type & early check in after a long journey. Room and Amenities: The room was immaculate and elegantly furnished, with a perfect blend of modern convenience and cozy comfort. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We have double bowl vanity unit, separate toilet and bathroom the high-quality toiletries and fast & reliable WIFI. Location: the hotel location is near Jordan MTR station Exit B1. 7-11 Just few steps away from the hotel. My stay at Nathan hotel exceeded all expectations. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a superb comfortable and convenient hotel stay. I look forward to my next visit!

Best Hotel around that I have been staying at since the 70s. Near Jordon MTR and along the shopping strip. Always enjoy the local hawker centres and food centres in comparison to the usual restaurants and shopping malls food courts. Fast foods are also around the corner and quite a few 24 hours. Located among the locals and you can experience the daily lifestyles of the local Hong Kong citizens and residents who are always friendly and helpful. Hotel staff still maintain their professional and courteous service. Strongly recommended

Old and housekeeping didn’t vacuum floors well. No swimming pool.

The location is perfect. Middle of things such as shopping, food, and public transportation. The front desk gives a map to guests on how to get around, which is very helpful. The staff was very helpful! Better service here than a 5 star hotel in America!
