The location is very close to the bus stop to and from airport. The hotel is very close to the MTR station. Lift is not too crowded and no long queue. A very pleasant place to stay. Stayed for 8 nights.

The rooms were relatively clean, although nothing special, considering my initial request to look out for extra cleanliness. I looked forward to the slippers, since as a hostel, I would expect a sanitized foot protector, not to expose our weak, prone feet to all sorts of dust and bacteria on the floor and in shower – they were circa size 37 in addition to being very dusty and sticky, not exactly designed for males or being hygienic – something to look out for, definitely not a nice experience in this aspect. I'm not sure if only my eye hovered over them, but the pictures tell a different and much more cozy feeling than IRL. The rooms were cramped, which we didn't mind as two guys with very basic needs, but definitely not superb comfort.

Basically, the sole reason we chose this room with my friend was the price and location; and what can I say, in these two aspects, it completely satisfied my expectations. Also because of the compact public transport, and relatively walkable nature of Hong Kong, the location was very convenient, although it was a little challenging to find the place for the first time. It was inside a labyrinth honestly, but if you keep your eyes open and look out for signs, it shouldn't be that hard to find. The staff was friendly and easy to reach, although we had to pay a deposit of 100 HKD, which I wasn't notified of beforehand, anyways, we got it back in the end. Since Hong Kong is an expensive city, this accommodation was one of the few budget options, and in summary I was satisfied.

The pillows provided are not comfy enough and smells a little. We’re not provided of fridge, drinking container or just because the staff didn’t tell us where it is. We sent a message on the provided numbers and WhatsApp but no response from the property.

Though it was a good place to stay. Close to most tourist attraction. A bit cramp but it’s expected in chunking since it’s our 2nd time staying in the mansion. We requested for 2 beds but provided 1 large and a bunk which is better. Towels, hair dryer are provided.The staff, ate Julie- a filipina, stayed up late, waited for us since our arrival was at 3am. Love the shower heater. The owner mR Singh allowed us to leave our luggage for awhile when we’re already checked out.

Dirtiness in the ground floor, there is some market. Two many people live in the maison, so sometimes you will be waiting the lift too long. The apartments were too small and wet, because there was no window and fresh air there. But it is Ok to spend overnight there before going to the airport, because the stops of the buses to the airport are located nearby.

Was really hard to find, had to enter a weird market and enter a random elevator. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and was assigned to my room, the wifi was also decent. Unfortunately my door had no working lock, and had it twice during the night that someone entered my room. It really had me sleeping troublesome all night, as i slept with 1 eye open.

"The hotel was not what we expected from the pictures online. The room was small and didn't have everything we needed, like a toilet seat cover and working bidet. The hallway was messy, and the receptionist seemed annoyed when we talked to them. Also, the front desk wasn't open all the time. We were disappointed with our stay, especially since we're Filipino and thought it would be better."

I didn't like anything, just that maybe we were so tired from walking around the city so we just accepted the room as it is.

Located at Nathan Road, I would say the location is perfect, accessibility to train and bus station is very easy. There are quite few good restaurants nearby and Avenue of Stars is just 5min walk from the hostel.

You get what you pay for. Great location, friendly and helpful staff particularly the Filipina at the reception. It’s also in an area of Chungking that isn’t crowded, so getting in and out was a breeze.

With the right expectation, the room you get is what you paid for. I don't mind it because I have been coming and going to Hong Kong many times so I didn't need the big room.

It's inside Chunking Mansion so you can't expect a lot with the price you pay. It's tiny but worked out well for just one person and spending only a few hours sleeping. The bathroom/ toilet worked fine. My room was moved because the AC was leaking prior to me staying in so I was moved into a bigger room. However, the AC was ok but there was a fan provided so actually they both worked together well.

The Chunking Mansions building was a bit sketchy but nothing alarming.

Provided exactly what was required for our needs, a small room with ensuite combined toilet/shower. It was clean and comfortable with AC.

Chungking is what it is. Queue at the elevators and small bathrooms. I had to sit sideways on the toilet. But I still prefer this location for the vibe, excellent location and good value.

Nice room with windows. I enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect for a morning walk or run at the harbour promenade.
