Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The place is very cramped, the main air conditioner controller was switched off from outside and no one seems to notice until we called front desk, turns out they were aware of the issue as it was rectified almost immediately after our call.
Conveniently located along Jordan Street, accessible to MTR and bus. Plenty of food choices.

No conditioner provided, room quite small, shower is small and shower curtains didn't keep the water in at times
Friendly counter staff and cleaning staff, decent facilities, always helped to clean our room and change towels, room equipment working, really good central location in Jordan with shops and restaurants nearby for convenience

Quite noisy in the rooms. Maybe due to being on the upper floor. In the bathing room there are some spots that are dirty due to being old
Super friendly service, gave us rooms in the upper floor. No problem to store luggage before or after stay. Good location with metro nearby. Would recommend for a budget hotel

Must pay a deposit of HKD 500 upon checking in. Claimable after checking out though.
The location is quite central although the area has quite a number of massage parlors. Tsim Sha Tsui MTR location is slightly a better location as attractions are a lot more than Jordan MTR area here.

Bed was a bit hard, room a bit dark, & the restaurant was geared more towards the Chinese, rather than international, market. The staff there were friendly, though.
Location excellent, near Nathan Rd, Jordan MTR & the A21 rapid bus for getting to/ from the airport & bus terminus for going to Macau. Also only about a mile from Tsim Sha Tsui & the Star Ferry.

Quite pricey Too few hangers in the room.
Very convenient. There are a lot of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. Walking distance to the bus stops and MTR station to access various places in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. The housekeeping lady is very friendly and has done a great job. The room is properly tidied up daily.

For the price I paid, there is not even a single free bottled water for the room. Asked to borrow a socket adapter, was told I have to purchase one for HK$50.

Beds are very hard, no water or coffee in room. Walls all need a repaint, carpets could all do with replacement and there were holes in the curtains

Staff were difficult to communicate with and seemed impatient, also they were very slow with check in. The plumbing of the toilet is not good having to flush three to four times when using it.

No supply of English breakfast tea bags & milk. Did not have individual shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and the hotel only provide all in one gel. My room can hear people talking on the corridor waiting for lift.
Room size is good. Hand held shower head is powerful. Air conditioning is efficient. Not too noisy in general. Has a chair. Overall the room and linen are clean and tidy.
