Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room was tiny. Sharing it with even my partner felt claustrophobic and uncomfortable. The wifi was terrible and meant you could barely do anything online. It would have been impossible to do any work there if you were travelling for business. The lifts were always incredibly busy, meaning it could often take 20 minutes to get off your floor and leave the hotel. It was a really depressing stay and we regretted booking this hotel.
The location was fine and the staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe hotel is very tired-looking and the overall levels of cleanliness and maintenance are poor. The staff are, at best, indifferent to the task of welcoming and assuring the comfort of guests. Above all, the layout of the bathroom and its parlous state of repair beggars belief. It is physically impossible to seat oneself on the lavatory in the customary way, on account of its utterly absurd positioning within the bathroom. In my case, I felt at serious risk of injuring myself when attempting to negotiate my way around the lavatory in order to enter the the bath tub, which was in a wretched state. I felt personally offended that an institution should market guest accommodation with an absurdly inflated star rating, in the full knowledge that the average guest will find the simple task of relieving himself or herself or washing a highly unpleasant prospect. The only positive memory I have of this place is the view to be had from the rooftop pool, which is not to be credited to the hotel as it's merely the natural consequence of being high off the ground in spectacularly vertiginous Hong Kong. In, conclusion, this hotel has earned the dubious distinction of being one of the most uncomfortable and thoroughly horrid places I have ever stayed, and I have stayed in a great many hotels.
Nothing.

GermanyThe hotel staff doesn't seem pleasant and helpful, our initial booking was cancelled as the payment didn't get through (?) without any notification before we arrived to the reception. We asked them to redo the same booking, they didn't want to bother much, telling us to book it ourselves via booking.com. The room was not the one which I booked, it was never vacuum cleaned or cleaned at all, only the bed was made each day (with the same sheets of course) and the water bottles replaced. It takes forever to get to the ground floor as the elevators seem to not work properly.

VietnamVery small room with extremely small bathroom and tiny bath-tube. WC so close to bath-tube that it was difficult to take a seat. Sink not in the bathroom but next to the door. No closet or wardrobe, just 2 coat-hooks on the wall. Very bad-wifi, needed to change our room twice to get good reception (the farther away from the elevators, the better the reception). Terrible breakfast with the cheapest cooked ham, chicken-sausage (scrambled) eggs and toast with strawberry jam served in a big bowl and butter only plus basic cereals. Fruit-plate was consisting of water melon only. Terrible coffee (we took the coffee-sachets from our room instead). Pool was closed.
Great location in the heart of HK island very close to MTR and city-tram. Quite spectacular view. But that's it already.

United KingdomThe harbour view was non-existent, our view was of high rises. We were unfortunate to arrive during a typhoon, this is not the hotel's fault, but it did mean that being able to see a good view was more important as we were not able to work about as we expected. We were greeted at the street level by someone who addressed us abruptly, asking us what we were doing there. The woman at check in was lovely. The swimming pool was closed - and this was not temporary because of the typhoon. The cafe was closed, so we had nothing to do in the hotel and getting out was difficult. It was seedy and dated, the fixings were wood-effect plastic. The room smelled. I was very disappointed. When I return to Hong Kong I will avoid this hotel and it has made me wish to avoid the Ramada name in general. I thought that I was booking a hotel where I could expect a reasonable level of comfort and service.
Not a lot.

ChinaFirst of all the block my credit card already one week in advance even it was described no deposit needed full payment at the property! Really old hotel on a construction site location which doesn’t match to the description and pictures at booking! Room not clean, towels dirty, shower head damaged, leakage washbasin blocked and safe doesn’t work. Matts from the bed seems to be from the 70’s and are hard like stone. Staff unfriendly and not really interested to solve any of the room problems. Room rate per night with around 1k Hongkong Dollars is a insolence! We leave after one night even we lose some money.
Absolutely nothing!! Sorry the worst hotel I have ever booked on booking as well as in Hongkong!
