Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaThe water heater take so slow to heat the water (20 mins & more) but when you take shower inside for just not more than 10 mins, the water is starting to get cold & freezing. Not recommend staying there during winter season. Locker also got issues, I can't open my locker with my access card and the time I also can't find worker around to help me. Locker can't fit on big luggage like 28" luggage, my friends and I can only put our luggage in a small room with a stranger inside. What I can conclude is that this hotel only suitable for backpacker *Some more, this hotel accidentally charged my credit card twice for the accommodations fee, I call booking.com to help me settle this issue.
This hotel is just in front of airport bus station, A21/N21 bus is so convenient way to airport

SingaporeRoom is very small & cockroach invested. Bed linen is stinky and staff do not adhere to request to change nor request for privacy, not sure what they're doing daily inside the room. Check-in time is extremely late at 4pm, should've been set to after sunset
Location. That's all. Price is good for Hong Kong standard as everyone in the city expect you to pay them an arm and a leg while providing you with the minimum until you balls up and scold them back.

GermanyThe bed was uncomfortable, even for capsule hotel standards. The bathrooms, with toilets and showers, were tiny. You could barely stand up in them. Some of the showers were also broken and it looked a lot nicer in the pictures. The Hotel is also located in a somewhat dodgy-looking house without any signs outside and the check-in process is not very clear. You need to write a Whats App message to the number on the booking. Nevertheless, it is a decent option for the right price
The location is decent, close to a metro station. The price is also alright for Hong Kong, however not cheap. Facilities offered did the job

AustraliaDisgusting showers - toilets don’t flush properly and bathrooms were hardly cleaned. Felt gross every time I needed to shower and opted to use public toilets during my stay. Was told there would be luggage storage, however I arrived at 0800h and did not receive a reply via LINE until 0910h as there are no staff onsite. Luggage storage was simply keeping your personal belongings in the common area which all guests have access to - hardly secure. The “towels” provided were good for one use and then needed to be discarded. I booked for four nights but ended up leaving HKG early and only stayed for three.
Comfortable beds and convenient location.

PhilippinesI was waiting for too long outside the room/hostel before they let me in because it’s difficult to contact the owner. There was one time when I left my keycard inside the room and for some reason I was locked out outside and needed to wait again to open the door.
I think I like the interior of the room. Their capsule is fine.

United StatesShowers and toilets were not the cleanest. No filtered water for drinking. The toilet was a stealth squirter and sprayed my legs and *there when I sat down, possibly a failed bidet? Staff are not onsite, though they responded to questions on WeChat within minutes.
Slept reasonably well. Soft, clean-smelling sheets and private capsule with a control panel for fan, quiet sign, and light, charger plugs. Location in Mong Kong is convenient to MTR and buses. Easy to access door code and room card. The staff are online and relatively quick to respond, provided the door code and password to retrieve a pass key. The common area is clean and light, furnished with kettle, tea cups, and fridge. A capsule hotel is a great idea.

JapanMaybe not comfortable for women. We need to share bathrooms with male guests. Beds have a curtain in a open space, so it is more like a shared room. Not much privacy. There is no reception. No hotel staff there. "WhatsUp" is a must to get the code to enter the place and to communicate with the hotel staff. You may leave your suitcase after checking out. But it is risky because anyone who could access to the place can steal your bag.
Excellent location for the cheap price. Slippers, towels and toothbrush are provided. You have a locker where you could put a small suitcase.

United KingdomIts verrrryyyy cramped. Im a 6ft fairly wide guy and I could barely fit in the shower/toilet so if you are either taller or around 6ft or have a wider build then I do not recommend. Shower was cold on two of the three occasions. Not sure why. Cleanliness was quite poor. The toilets were always blocked or had urine all over the seats. I contribute this to the other guests but it felt like there was hardly any housekeeping to keep the condition well. Like I would wait till the next day to use the toilet but it was still dirty as ever. My blinds were also broken so I had to really force the blinds down to shut them. Not the hotels fault but the other people in my room, specifically one person, snored so loud it felt like an earthquake. He also quite rudely spoke loudly on the phone 1am in the night!!! Didnt get good nights sleep on both nights I was there.
Convenient and cheap - good value for money.
