We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustriaFor me the Ritz Carlton felt like a Business Marriot (most probably efficient processes for the masses, but no individualism for specific wishes of travellers). So if this would be a 4 star Marriot Business Hotel in a mid west province, i would rate 9. Breakfast is extremly poor quality (in all aspects, but price) ... the main restaurant was too full (!!), so we were sitted in some coffee shop, small selection, only decent quality, service personal obviously not on top of their business (long waiting, warm water, but cold coffee .. again maybe they are used to serve coffee from the warming plate quicker, but the offer espresso and cappuchino, so they should serve it in first 20 min and it should be hot when arriving at the table). Every personal i spoke (except Checkin) was (positiv formulated) professional (not helpful, not able to do anything on guest wishes)
In Room Checkin (altough this is standard in the class the Ritz wants to play). Room was ok, location on top of highest building of Asia has some advantages (and some disadvantages (e.g., in rainy weather you are 24 hours in the clouds, it always take a minute of elevator ride (not to speak of waiting time for elevator) to get to Lobby in Floor 103, to change to real room elevator)

South Koreabreakfast was not tasty and less variety. You must do something to upgrade the quality for the high price. At the Chinese Restaurant, the dishes recommended by the staff was below par in terms of both quality and taste.
- The corner room was far nicer than the room we originally booked. though we were not too happy with the extra charge.
