Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe just spent one night in transit. The hotel is perfectly situated for the airport. Our room on the 15th floor was well designed. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The buffet breakfast is served in a lovely bright room on the 9th floor, looking out at a tropical garden. Extensive range of food on offer. Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect for one night but we would have happily stayed longer.

United StatesThe weird elevator / flooring decisions. There are two sets of elevators. One to exit the hotel and access nearby facilities (eg., the outlet mall and the parking garages, etc.); the other to access the guest rooms — even though technically the first set of elevators are also connected to each floor of the guest rooms (but they block the floors of the guest rooms off from access from the first set of elevators). The check-in counter is also weirdly NOT on the ground floor, but one must take the elevator up to 9th floor (or was it the eighth?) for check-in. Then further up/or down to guest rooms on a second set of elevators. To exit the hotel, guests must ride the second set of elevators up/down to the floor where the check-in counter and the restaurant are, then down the first set of elevators. Our room was on lower floor than the check-in counter. So it is a constant up one set of elevators and then down another to go in-and-out of the hotel. Shower design while clean and space saving leaks a little bit of water at the door after each use — perhaps that is the flaw in the design or the seals on the door is failing and require repairs. TV access is rather straining. Remote control works, but TV responds slowly, making channel-surfing a chore. The TV is tiring to use after a long day of walking.... Channel selection is limited with few non-news English speaking channels (which is understandable — this is Hong Kong, after all).
Location was excellent. Right next to and with easy/direct access to the outlet mall. Quick walk access to the metro station that can take you right into the city. Also one metro station down from the connecting train to Disneyland (not of interest to us, though. There was hourly shuttle (about ~20min each way) to and from the airport, making easy airport access. Our room was spacious, clean and modern with the view of the outlet mall down below and surrounding high-rises. Included breakfast was excellent with a large selection of various styles of breakfast from traditional Asian to contemporary continental.

Hong KongAs Tung Chung Local, I knew my way around Citygate which made it easy to locate the hotel. For first-timers, it might not be as straightforward but there are enough signs in Citygate to lead you to the main entrance.
Don’t skip on the Breakfast Buffet — perfectly balanced menu with HK classics and western favourites. Location - less than a 5-minute walk through the mall to the Tung Chung MTR and Bus Station The room was clean and spacious enough for 2 guests. The toilet featured a heated Japanese-style bidet which was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t get to use the pool this time around, but the gym was well maintained and had a good variety of equipment. Every single staff member we met was friendly, polite and knowledgeable!

The breakfast is excellent. We also liked the gym and overall design of the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel is conveniently located inside a mall and we found delicious food and nice shops there. Greatly recommended if you want to use the cable cars and visit the big Buddha since the station is just next to the mall. We loved staying in this hotel (best hotel by far we stayed in and we moved all through Hong Kong and macau and stayed in 6 different hotels)

AustraliaIf relying on the shuttle please be aware it runs only every hour (most operate every half hour) not so great depending on flight arrival (and taxis are cash only) $26aud for Coke and small pringles did seem excessive
Location was wonderful if you have just a few spare hours and like to shop. 100m from outlet centre The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable and staff were welcoming and helpful.

FijiNegatives - The check in and check out is a bit slow with only 2 people at the desk both times. I checked in about 6pm. The other negative is the breakfast experience. It is chaotic and noisy with staff clearing plates like it’s a competition who can be the loudest. The staff seemed better suited to work at a fast food restaurant than a luxurious hotel. They are abrupt bordering on rude. I felt like I was intruding just by asking how/where I can order a coffee. I got my coffee and juice then left my table to get food only to return 2 minutes later to find it had been cleared. The staff brought another one but by then I just wanted to eat and leave. The dining area - the Enclave - like the rest of the hotel is beautiful, looking out of big windows to lovely greenery and trees but inside is not relaxing or enjoyable by any means. I would stay again because of the beautiful rooms and its location to the outlets and airport but I would probably skip paying for breakfast next time.
Positives and there are so many - My room was so beautiful, spotlessly clean and spacious. The amenities are luxurious - shampoo, conditioner and body lotion smells divine. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, I could’ve happily slept and lazed around all day. Absolutely nothing to fault with my room. I felt rested and pampered. The hotel is directly connected to outlet shopping. Tip - I had the best dumplings in the restaurant on your left as you exit the hallway from the hotel lift.
