Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandGood quality for a fair price in an convenient location. Looking at other places for reasonable price, this seems like a real great deal. The room is obviously small, but very clean and neatly arranged, nice window view. On the other hand I had to wait a month (sic!) to get my deposit back approx. 125 EUR, apparently due to chinease new year.

SingaporeThe location is excellent- right next to MTR. I stayed on 21st floor- it was quiet, no street noise. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Small things to improve- the floor was dirty with dust. There was no bottled water in the room. There was a fan that made noise all night long. Had to sleep with ear plugs. This was mentioned in other reviews- it really is annoying and makes it hard to sleep well. Overall the price was a lot for such a basic room. But it was a good place and aside from the fan noise, I would recommend it. Oh, it has a cute photo board in the lobby with local recommendations to visit in the area. This was lovely..

AustraliaPoor acoustic insulation; we could hear every small sound happening outside from the room above (faucet running, toilet flushing)
Fantastic central location, right outside a train station and behind the main street of the area. Various shops (supermarkets, fast food and family restaurants as well as malls and street markets) in a short walking distance.

IndonesiaThe drainage smell from the bathroom could be managed better. The sink is outside the bathroom. And no closet space for your clothes. Just hangers that is provided on the wall.
The location is in a working class neighborhood that is appealing for us to experience the Hongkong way of life. There are abundant of Chinese local restaurants and BBQ places. Great food and service. The MRT red line, entrance and exit is practically near the entrance of the Hotel on Portland street. You can walk everywhere on Nathan road in either direction. Nathan Street is a block away from the hotel. We also had a great view of Hongkong from the room. It was a corner room with good natural lighting.

AustraliaIt was small and no storage space, but that is normal for Hong Kong
Great location, friendly staff and room had fantastic windows so was nice and bright. Decor was more boutique than your usual hotel, but that was refreshing. Very comfortable for a few nights stay.

SingaporeNo TV, lots of noise disturbance on corridor middle of night, lots of street-walkers stationed on pavements around hotel entrance, lots of old men loitering as well
Location is on point, right outside MTR station exit A, reputable bakery and established beef noodles shop on ground floor, well-known cafe and fishball noodles directly opposite, 5mins walk to bus stop on Nathan Rd for A21 to airport, bed is very comfortable, shower water pressure very strong

PhilippinesThe 2BR penthouse suite is perfect in itself, would have been better if there is a microwave because you have beautiful long table to share good food with the family.
Location- right outside A1 exit of Yau Ma Tei, few steps away from A21 airport bus. Good eats just outside the building and surrounding area. Walking distance from Langham and Sneaker street

New ZealandIf you are a Westerner who is used to large rooms, then be prepared that it is smaller, maybe 15sq metres? But fine if you don't have heaps of luggage.
Great location and friendly staff. The shower had good pressure. The hotel is clean and has new decor, with a great location between Mong Kok and Jordan, so you literally have Yau Ma Tei station (red line) on the door step (use the A2 Pitt st exit). You can easily get to HK central & the airport via train or bus from Pitt Street/Nathan Rd., or just walk for 30 mins to get to the waterfront.

IndiaSmall room. Tea coffee in room is poor. Bathroom and toilet too is very small. No table to sit and work on laptop.
The hotel location is excellent as very close to MTR entry. That is about it. It is a very small room and no place for luggage placement

SingaporeCan hear neighbors' kid crying and it's not even next door so door might not be soundproof. There are streetwalkers around so there are always men loitering around the main entrance. Single lady travellers might feel unsafe, as the lobby of hotel is located on 5th floor.
Location was great, room was also bigger than usual. Seems to be always bustling downstairs but it's not noisy so windows might be soundproof. Walkable to many good restaurants and supermarket and 7-11.

South KoreaThis is my second time staying here. The room last time was better. This time, the air-con was blowing directly onto my head while I slept (see photo). It's quite uncomfortable (even with the air-con fan speed set to "weak") and I woke up with a headache. The only alternative is to turn the air-con off, but then the room becomes stuffy.
The decoration is very interesting & stylish. Place is spotlessly clean and room had a view.

The location is great. I love the vibe of the hotel too—nice art deco stuff, really pretty bathroom tiles. The complimentary tea is good. The hotel is also very clean.
