Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaPictures show 2 pools, however, they were under maintenance for the duration of our stay. We booked it specifically for the pools since the kids don't like the ocean as much, so that was disappointing.
Very nice hotel, right on the water. A bit out of the city, but walkable. Very quiet for a good night's sleep.

El SalvadorStaff at the hotel seemed rather uninterested in their guests, would be nice to feel a little more welcomed/ attended to Tuktuk was not waiting at dock as promised Skipped breakfast b/c of strong smell of old fat from kitchen ; asked for a coffee and received a mug filled to the edge of what seemed cheap warmed up coffee. With a good manager and staff training these are minor things that can easily be improved - facilities and location are perfect for those who want to be outside of town
Our purpose was to explore the other side of the Island - so the included kayaks and snorkel Equipment and Location was Great! Absolutely fantástic is Tera , the Manager of the Dive Shop!

United States1) We found a few large cockroaches in our room when we returned from the day. Not too big of a deal since we are on a tropical island but our room was on the third floor so a bit unexpected 2) The staff was overall rude/unavailable at the reception and breakfast areas. example: On the day we arrived, we had communicated with a member of the staff the night before that we would be arriving at 9.30 am and they confirmed that we would be able to leave our bags at reception. Unfortunately there was no one at the reception office until 11 am to allow us to leave our bags or check into the room. 3) breakfast is on order only so if you have an early morning dive and want to grab a quick something to eat beforehand, they were unable to accommodate me with any small item to go 4) The hotel is in a great location if you’re looking for a more secluded spot but not great if you would like to go into town for restaurants or bars. It is about a 15 minute drive to get into town and you have to call the tuktuk taxis to come pick you up (approx 50 lempira per person) or rent a golf cart 5) Although the hotel has a scuba diving center; it seems to cater more to larger groups coming to the hotel rather than 1-2 solo divers looking to join a dive - you’re better off booking dives with the dive centers in town if you’re looking for that. 6) The rooms are crazy expensive compared with other nicer hotels in town
Loved that there is a beautiful coral reef you can snorkel at right in front of the resort! The hotel also has a great pool and beach bar that is always serving great drinks and food. the rooms were comfortable and both the AC and the hot water were working. The breakfast at the hotel was ok.

SpainIt might be a bit overpriced with other places compared to what they offer. Reception check-in/check-out could also be improved.
Despite it is a bit far from the town center, the location is amazing, one of the best in Utila with the Coral Reef accessible from the hotel. The town is also at a walking distance by the sea. The team is very nice, specially Cecilia and Henry took good care of me and were extremely helpful.

United KingdomThe state of the bathroom, missing tiles, very rusty tap and fittings not pleasant to look up. The second pool is neglected and a waste of space. Could do with more comfy furniture in the pool area. Breakfast is a disaster. You can only have ‘typical’, no fruit or choice. We asked for fried egg on toast we’re told OK but still got scrambled from the ‘typical’ menu. It would be so easy to offer basics like eggs, pancakes and put a toaster in the restaurant. In addition the Waiter listens to his phone behind the bar so loudly you can’t hear the music from the speaker. If this was a budget hostel fine but it was very expensive!
The view at the front, the coral reef right in front of the property with good access to the water, the ladies who worked in the bar, WiFi and shower good, transfer from the port. Room small but comfy.

United KingdomNo tea available for breakfast. No other dislikes.
Location: Great, quiet area, not that far away from the city centre. Charming staff and delicious food with vegan options on the menu. In the price of the hotel you can rent scuba diving equipment, kayaking, etc. Pier. The resort has also a good size pier with two swimming pools, top roof deck and the bar. Personally I would give the pier a fresh paint, some net curtains and lights around the lounge beds and easily call the place 5 stars resort :)
