Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesBathroom was very small for a double room but all was very clean.
Breakfast menu was nice and was included with room. Side plates were an extra charge but the food was very good.

CanadaIt was quite expensive to leave Graham and do other activities. Perhaps more affordable prices more people would would want to sign up for snorkelling and other activities. No wifi or TV in the rooms.wifi only at bar. More entertainment would be a (+)
I enjoyed being secluded. The quiet and peacefulness of the island. The cleanliness. The staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. The sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. The breakfast was tasty. The food overall at their restaurant was all tasty and well made.

United StatesDisappointed in the trash on backside of the island. There are plastics and bottles, roof shingles...etc. One of the nearby islands was full of trash on it's shoreline...noted to be a problem elsewhere...does not seem to be a problem for the locals but it is for us value our environment and goes to these beautiful places and except the locals to care.
Excellent staff!

United StatesI don't like that around the walking path, where theboriginalnowner used to have animals before he passed, they are tossing their trash. There were mounds of trash once you went to the back which was sad. Mr Graham wouldn't approve and would be rolling in his grave. Additionally, it took about 40 minutes to get our lunch tab correct I think the staff needed additional training on the pos and manners since they didn't make eye contact. The woman at the register refused to acknowledge our existence. We've been coming to grahams for 20 years and since his passing this is the first I've experienced this.
Overall this place is incredible. You wake up to pristine water and are on a private Cay in paradise. When you exit your water taxi, which is included in the price, the dock staff are super helpful. The welcome drink is delicious. It's magic.

United StatesSmoke from wild fires in Central America. They burn fields in May. Poor air quality. Sand flies on the beach— lots of bites.
Beautiful and well kept; lots of staff around. Good food and comfortable rooms.

United StatesThat morning coffee....YIK!
The breakfast is included in the room price. only two choices but they were cooked just right and tasty. My only disappointment is the coffeemaker....gosh that coffee could stand up on its own...so strong and tasteless as if the coffee was just boiled to death. Yik. The resort is maintained and tended to by a large staff of very personable and helpful staff. The grounds are beautifully kept. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.

United StatesHonestly, everything at Graham’s place was wonderful, but if I had to pick anything to improve upon, it would possibly be mattress & pillows.
The breakfasts selections provided were plentiful and delicious. As were lunch and dinner options. Graham’s Place serves some of the tasty options we’ve ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed not only our meals but the very friendly and great staff and the property. It certainly does make you feel that you’re in your own little paradise!

HondurasStaff were not so accommodating, service at the beach not great. Had to walk up every time to the bar everytime I needed something. Frequent power outages (I understand it's a problem in general in Guanaja). I'm sure the hotel can work to do better to upkeep the name and prestige its had for years.
Secluded and remote location. Great views and great beach. The premises are well kept and maintained. Had some wine bottles I ordered ready upon arrival. The boat guy (John) was a great help. Props for him.
