Very nice place! Very clean (very important to me), delicious food and drinks, nice atmosphere and amazing view to the caribbean sea and the whole city of Tela from the terrace/bar rooftop. Very close to the public beach (3 minutes by car and 10 minutes slow walk) Also, very nice and friendly staff! Overall amazing experience. Would definitely recommend! Worth the price!

My mattress was too hard. There were too many stairs. I didn't realize this before booking. The beach was too far away. I thought the hotel was on the beach.

Ummm . . . Bring insect repellent - It’s Honduras!

We love the Maya Vista and have stayed here many times, but it has been eight years since we have been in Tela, Honduras - and were so delighted to come to the same beautiful place, with the wonderful food, and amazing views! If you are coming to Tela, you must stay here! Very clean, air conditioning, the small pool is so refreshing. Truly a unique and beautiful place.

I did not like the fact that there was not a small refrigerator in the room to keep at least my own bottle of water.

The room was spacious and spotless. I would like to thank you to Juanita from the cleaning staff. She was always on top making sure my room was swept, mop and crisp bed sheets every day. The breakfast was delicious, The staff were attentive, friendly and went out of their way to ensure that i was confortable. Thumbs up please continue the amazing work.

amazing view. the owner was gabulous. we were unable to communicate with him through booking and we ended up with a room for 4 people so he gave us free breakfasts. it was anything we wanted on the menu. my partner got sick and he arranged a doctor and took us. wonderful view and great staff

Very disappointed with Tela beach, it's disgusting! Thankfully Hotel Maya had all we wished for. We only stayed one night but would happily stay longer.

Excellent facilities and great service. Pierre and his son are so welcoming, we felt like we were at home! Thanks for all. Still unsure about the daily workout on the steps :-)

no elevator was a big bummer and as I have my mother who cannot go up stairs we ended up with separate rooms so she could be on the lower level, my husband and I ended up with double beds instead of a king so we had to put the beds together so we could have our baby with us. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as it wasn’t to a standard you would expect from lodging in honduras, no fresh handmade tortillas instead I got store bought and cold tortillas. The staff service at the restaurant was lacking from attentive and promptest.

Awesome location, close to a lot of stores, banks & beaches. Staff was very helpful with finding places to go for the day. Also had great breakfast to start off the day.

They write in the description that they are 2 minute walk from beach. There are some stairs to walk across that take like 3 minutes but if you cant go up stairs which was our case you have to walk a good 10-15 minutes.
