Mostly cold showers. Spotty wifi, only about 50% of the trip. Was overcharged prior to arrival. Still waiting to get refunded.

The staff was incredible, I have stayed here many times. Very friendly and accommodating. Plus, the restaurant has great food. The Owner is usually around and is always willing to help out and give advice on places to go, things to see. Another thing I really like is that they email you personally as your travel date gets closer to touch base and they will have a cab at the airport waiting for you.

Exceptional facilities fantastic staff. Great value. Great location I can't say enough good things about the people that run this amazing little inn. This hotel has a absolutely adorable and sweet older cat that likes to frequent the patios of the rooms super sweet and a great companion to sit out and enjoy a morning cup of coffee with.

Great location for access to the beach and restaurants (including the awesome on-site restaurant, the Cannibal Cafe). Bright and comfortable rooms with balconies feel like your island home away from home.

I left early due to Hurricane Beryl because, at the time, it was a Category 5 storm and Roatan was in and close to the cone. I spoke to the owner and asked for my money back for the remaining 2 nights. First, he lied and said that booking.com doesn't let him refund money, I told him that I was familiar with booking.com policy and that the decision to refund is ultimately up to the poverty owner. At that point, the owner pivoted from the lie he initially told me and simply refused to refund my money. I tried to explain that the normal policy should not apply in this instance because the reason for my early departure was a hurricane which was measuring as a Category 5 at the time, yet he still refused to give me my money back. I understand that hotels and booking.com need to follow their standard policies and practices. I also understand that the property could have rented the room to another guest, etc and no business wants to lose money. However, there are certain situations where businesses need to be more customer-friendly and understanding, and one such situation is a hurricane or other natural disasters. I can't condone a business owner or a booking service that refuses to make exceptions to policy in a situation involving a hurricane. In terms of the room - you get what you pay for. Bathroom had a constant order. Staff kept the room clean, though.

Wifi is not reliable in the rooms - but if you're coming to Roatan, you really dont need reliable Wifi - and there is a coworking space across the street if you need to use the internet in a substantial way at all.

Great location, cannot be beat! Right in town and a few steps to West End Beach. I loved hanging in the hammock with a perfect breeze all of the time and great garden view (read: palm trees). It's attached to Cannibal Cafe which is great for breakfast and lunch too! Staff was kind, felt super safe as well. I was a solo female traveller and cannot wait to come back here!

This is such a perfect little spot to stay if your in the west end and diving. little kitchen with what you need. air conditioning was top notch. Location was tucked jut back a bit so any street noice is blocked off and wont bother you. Cant say anything about the wifi as we had an esim app. no matter where you stay in the west end it is all in short walking distance. I mean a minute or two to anything. Please try the chicken quesadillas at cannibal cafe attached. BOMB.

My son had a room in the back that the roosters kept him awake half the night. I was upfront and didn’t have the same problem.

It was nice that they had a restaurant that you could sit at and watch people go by as you eat. The breakfast was very good. I also had dinner one night. The tacos were great at a fair price. The location is perfect for walking around town. You’re right next-door to everything. The highlight was they have kayaks that you can bring to the water just a short walk away. Me and my son used kayaks to go out to deeper water and tie off on a buoy and go snorkeling , so many fish.

Clean and relaxing

Walking distance from all restaurants, markets, beaches and al different tours, diving, snorkeling, horse back rides, chocolate factory, relaxing times. This is my third time and we a recommend.

The location is excellent, you can walk anywhere in West End. There are water taxis nearby to go to West Bay.

Like most places in West End, there are cats around. I definitely didn’t mind as they were friendly and not a bother. In fact, my daughter enjoyed adopting them as vacation pets while chilling in the hammock. But if you are severely allergic you might want to consider that.

The location is right in the middle of West End, easy to walk everywhere. The room was perfect for a father daughter scuba trip as there were two separate bedrooms, with a nice patio with a hammock in the shade of a palm tree 🌴. There was A/C which felt luxurious. While not the Ritz Carleton, the room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The attached restaurant was fantastic, with great lion fish tacos and breakfasts! When we arrived, they sold us a 5 gallon jug of water ($5😀) that kept us from having to buy a bunch of smaller bottles all week. This place was eco-friendly and super chill.

The photos and description from the Booking.com site were misleading. We had stayed here before and enjoyed it. This time we were given an older room with minimum comforts. The photo had described a small kitchenette but we had a coffee maker with no cups or dishes. The"sitting area" was 2 plastic chairs outside the door on the sidewalk. We couldn't stay for our week but the owner did re-rent the room and returned a portion of our money. This explains the inconsistencies in my evaluation.

The location is good. The staff understanding and effort to be accommodating.

Booked last minute, so room was more expensive which was understandable. The attached restaurant was pricy but had good food.

the sheets could have been in better shape so they stayed on the bed. The bathroom door wouldn't close. Had to slam the front door to close it. The unit was not clean, under the bed didn't look like it had been cleaned in years

We had to cancel a night due to a death in the family and were not offered a refund. Upon arrival, there was no power, and we never had hot water. I was traveling with three small children, and the people above us had a party until 6 AM. No one slept, no electricity, our room was so hot. And we had no hot water, it was a small hotel nightmare

The apartment wasn't super clean, for example some towels had marks on them, a lot of small ants around, but the location and staff made it an insignificant detail!

Suyapa is very friendly and accommodated our room extension as best she could. She recommended taxis and was just always available. I would book again!

Center of town, lots of food choices. Beach, snorkeling close by. ATM next door. The staff was amazing. I would stay again.
