BangladeshThe room was very clean. And it was bigger than in the pictures. The property itself is a piece of art and we felt entrenched in the architecture of Split. It’s a 5 min walk to all the major attractions of Split and right across from the promenade. The staff were especially nice. We went for a daytrip after we checked out and they let us keep our suitcases at the hotel for free. They even let us come back and use the bathrooms to get changed and gave us the key so that we could collect our suitcases at night even when the staff had left. We just had to lock the main door and leave the keys in the mailbox. Would recommend this hotel to anyone coming into Split. Excellent location. Excellent service. Excellent staff.

CanadaThe room is small. Not a problem for us but for awareness: hotel is in a pedestrian area so you need to walk in/out with luggage. Car park available nearby for 20 euros / day. There are many stairways in the area so if you have mobility issues this is not the best fit.
Very nice location. Character building but rooms have modern bathrooms and air conditioning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool is a lovely addition. Breakfast is at a nearby restaurant on the Riva and is very nice.

United KingdomWe are not needy guests so therefore as far as we are concerned everything was great.
The staff were exceptional from our 1st welcome to our final goodbyes. The location was perfect for our visit in easy reach of all the bars and restaurants along the front and in town as well as some hidden gems we found along the way. Close to the old town for sightseeing and the harbour where a ferry or boat excursion is available to take you to close-by islands. The hotel has just 13 rooms in 2 buildings,so although compact the property is also very personal. Our choice of bed and breakfast meant a short walk to a local restaurant for breakfast, the selection was varied, cooked fresh and served to our table where we could sit overlooking the promenade and watch the locals and tourists alike go about their morning activities.

United KingdomCoffee in the room was terrible! At least, it would be nice to have normal instant coffee rather than 3-in-1. Sound-proofing between the rooms was not so great but it's an old building.
Great location in the old town near lots of restaurants and only 5 mins from the palace. The rooms were pretty and the bathrooms had good water pressure. Staff were very friendly and proactive in getting the rooms cleaned in the morning.

United StatesI cannot think on anything I would recommend and stay again there.., but just consider the rooms are accesible by narrow stairs so probably not a good idea for people with limitations. We had a 4 people room (like a two bedroom room) that was very nice, but everything a little small, so also if you are big or tall could be not very confortable. Since we were 3 people and all small, it worked great… but something to have in mind.
