The main thing we didn't like was the pervasive smell of stale cigarette smoke throughout the house. It was very offputting. The wifi also wasn't great, I ended up having to go to a cafe to work.

Great location, bathroom very clean and large. Bed was comfortable and room a good size.

Being a shared bathroom - granted there was only a couple times we had to wait. They were not very responsive on the messaging app - you just need to knock on their door if you need anything!

The hosts were very friendly! He let us borrow a towel to bring to the beach and our boat trip.

Based on the photos I saw when booking, I was expecting a bigger, better room than the one I actually got. In the room I had, the furniture was limited.

The location is excellent, in the middle of the old town. The accommodation was quite basic, but ok for a couple of nights.

Bathroom was very small, of course this is unavoidable in this area as it is very hard to do modifications in the historic buildings. The shower door was missing, but probably it broke recently and the owner didn't have the time to replace it as it was laying on the wall, so it is again understandable. Also the towels were very small and there was only 1 blanket, too small for 2 people. But these are just minor inconveniences that can be easily fixed.

Amazing location next to diocletian Palace, in a really beautiful Old building. Nice personal touches in the room, very cosy.

It wasn't very clean, and when you share a bathroom with other guests I would expect it to be cleaned more thoroughly (bathmat and towels changed etc). Our fridge still had items from the previous guests in it and there was a used contact lens on my bedside table. It was noisy in the evenings because of all the restaurants in the area, but that's unavoidable if you are right in the centre.

Great value for money and extremely nice family who manage the property. The location is top, tucked in away from the main streets people cross cross through the old town/palace walls but I still within it and very charming. Its also across from a great upscale coffee place (though truth be told the average Croatian kafić or café will have stronger more depth of flavour In their cappuccinos—something Italians and Austrians would definitely prefer over this more American style coffee shop) and cute restaurants are around the corner. Oh and don’t forget to check out The shoe store Borovo, a Croatian brand whose sneakers have even made it into vogue for their cute designs.

Very nice apartment with the best location ever! The hosts were super nice and helpful. The room was clean and quite. I would recommend Buga & Tuga without hesitation. Thank you Blanca and family for being so kind and lovely :)

The shower was a bit blocked so only very slowly drained and the 3rd bed was a mattress in the floor on arrival which was comfortable, but think there might have been a little confusion around the number of people booked.

The location was excellent and we had an en-suite. a great price for the room.
