Steaks aren't so good (little bit unsalted). They charge for nespresso coffee cartridges 4€ per piece (you have every day one piece per person)

I liked parking and garage, private small beach, boat dock which light's up at night, lot's of different types sun beds at pool area with sea view, buffet and a la carte breakfast and all rooms have sea view.

The hotel has a small private beach and boat dock. Each room is perfect with its own balcony, just sat on it for hours watching the Adriatic go by and listening to the lapping of the water on the shore. Perfect place to relax. I normally prefer to stay at big chain hotels but this was so much better. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast was superb. Free parking.

The steam room wasn’t working very well for a couple of days. Down the side of the daybed in the solarium was very cobwebby & needed a hoover. Top of headboard needed a hoover. A kettle in the room might have been nice. (But these are all just nit-picky things to make it more perfect)

Stunning design & architecture. Beautiful view from our large balcony in our superior room. Huge comfortable bed & powerful shower. Exceptional standard of food at the restaurant ( breakfast, lunch & dinner.) Wonderful, wonderful staff.

it is far from everything. In two days you walk around everything, other places yoh can reach only by car. swimming pool is too small. Maybe fitness wouldn’t be bad idea for rainy days and winter

Basically, every aspect of our staying was superb – the hotel has the best possible location, practically right over the Adriatic Sea so the views from the room were just perfect from the first morning moment until the late night. The staff was highly professional, kind and friendly. And the restaurant is definitely worth visiting – risotto with scampi was a gastronomic highlight of the whole trip.

Opatija is as glamorous as it is gorgeous, so it’s no surprise that hotel Navis is an exceptionally designed sanctuary of luxury. The hotel affords guests true privacy and relaxation. Panoramic views of the sea can be seen from every room and heated outdoor swimming pool. Don't hasitate to try their reastaurant - the ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Delicious wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. And you should, by all means, relax with a soothing massage - really enjoyable experience, cannot recommend enough.

It's not that I didn't like it, I just expected more. I stayed over NY eve and couldn't attend the gala dinner since it was already booked out. I thought not problem, I can at least have some drinks at the bar downstairs, but the lobby is rather small and doesn't really invite for staying there and having drinks. I also think the a la carte breakfast was ok, but would definitely profit from a chef which better plating skills.

View and proximity to the sea is great, although it depends a bit on the room you get (in my case, both rooms been on the first floor which also means direct view on the terrace which sacrifices your privacy on the balcony a bit). Staff generally very friendly. There is a privat jetty and beach access too, which seems the real gem of this hotel (next to the SPA)

The hotel has interesting design, but in the reality the surfaces and the colors are a little bit lower level compared to the photos. The corridor and the room are too dark.

The scenic view from the room was really fantastic. Great location right on the beach. Very friendly staff. Outstanding breakfast. Small but nice spa. Very comfortable bed.

massage needs a few finishing elements ( right towels etc) - no decaf coffee in the room - the air con didnt work because next door had heating on - needs fixing. It is 8 years old and needs a refurb

Breakfast had no salmon for 7 of the 9 days we were there. They had an electronic breakfast menu but didn't take the option off when not available. Clothes worn by staff not nice and sometimes grubby. Not what you expect from hotel which claims to be a top boutique hotel.
