The drinks are not great. Do not buy separate from an all inclusive rate. The food is what you expect from a buffet, it had reasonable choices and was good.

Great access to the sea- gravel beach but that all are in the area, 3 pools, convenient location to Cavtat and the airport. Cavtat is a very nice little town right next door.

There is plenty if dining space indoors but there is a lack of no smoking area when dining outside. We prefer outdoor dining, but there are lots of guests smoking at dining tables. It would be more pleasant if some outdoor tables were in a no smoking area. The beach is very pebbly which makes it tricky to get in and out of the sea in some places. Beach shoes are a good idea. A little jetty like a hotel further up the beach would be even better. I would have liked to see recycling bins to encourage tourists to stop being so wasteful! We took our recycling to a bar further up the beach so we could recycle but I'm guessing most others do not. Overall though, the hotel exceeded expectations and i would definitely go back. As usual with reviews, vast majority of people complaining are those who expect 5* hotel for 3* price. Very good VFM; we didn't want to leave!

Location is amazing. Could not ask for better. Watching the sun set from the terrace bar was a daily delight! Boat taxi away from Dubrovnik. Wide variety of hot and cold food which was always fresh with lots of salads and healthy options. We didn't get bored as different choices were available everyday. Self-service drinks meant no massive queues at the bar as I have experienced in other AI resorts. Kids loved being able to help themselves to hot chocolate (even though 30°!) very child friendly overall. Resort is spread across the beach front though so there's plenty of room and different places to hang out... like under the big shady pine trees.

There was a bed smell from the bathroom. No elevator from the second to the upper floors so people with disabilities should request rooms on the lower floors.

Dinner was excellent with variety sort of food. The room was very clean and comfortable.

It's seems like an older hotel so a few things a bit worn.

Location great, plenty of chairs by the pool and beach. Breakfast and dinner had great choices and a lovely fruit plate in our room as a welcome pack.

Melas would benefit from more healthy options. The shop was way over priced for basics such as snacks and water.

The location on the beach and near the village of Cavtat was excellent. The beach at the hotel is relatively small and rocky. Breakfast was complete and rather meat-oriented.

My stay at Hotel Epidaurus was absolutely wonderful. The location is excellent, offering beautiful views and easy access to everything Cavtat has to offer. The room was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What truly made our stay special was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A special shout-out to Marina Šimunović, the housekeeper responsible for our room. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her warm and caring attitude truly impressed us. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Epidaurus for a memorable stay in Cavtat!

The building is a bit old and many facilities would need renovation. Only the room is modern. The buffet dinner was not the best, could be improved.
