Air con not working, no lock on room door, really, really rude staff. Included breakfast empty bar cornflakes, warm milk, rotten apples and bread 40 minutes before end of service. asked for more coffee, staff member actually argued with me that the empty pot was full before checking and putting more on. Kitchen was not clean. When I said that food was empty I was told that that wasn’t true and “we have cameras”. Such a bizarre experience. Had to move the next morning and they still haven’t confirmed that I won’t be charged for cancelling next night. So uncomfortable as a solo female sleeping in a room with no lock on the door. Noise, smell and heat appalling. Stay at the Swanky mint hostel if you visit Zagreb, I moved from one of the worst hostels I’ve ever been in to the best (Swanky mint), was such a relief when I arrived there.

Bed itself was comfortable, lockers in room large with provided key… but too noisy and too hot to sleep in the place!

Air conditioning broken room was impossibly hot, asked for help when trying to sleep, was moved to a room with a broken lock on door (after a long wait as only one staff member) . Such incredible noise. I’ve left this hostel absolutely exhausted after having uncomfortable conversations (actually arguments) with staff both tonight and today, so unprofessional. If your facilities such as air con are broken guests need to be informed on arrival and if you don’t have a lock on the door then the room should not be leased. included breakfast basically empty when I arrived, asked for more coffee but there was then a debate that it was on the table. Was told everything was refilled and “we have cameras”. So shockingly bad I can’t express. Picture of breakfast included, this was after asking for coffee and everything was refilled. I love staying in hostels and do so regularly so I’m not expecting the Ritz but basic comfort and safety is a non negotiable for everyone.

The bedsheets were not fresh as they smell humidity which I don't like the most. This is something to improve. The location is really great, it is at the very centre. However this location makes it noisy if you open the window of the room.

The staff is very lazy and irresponsible. During my stay, I got my things stolen and it happened when the room was cleaned. Similar thing happened to other girl staying in different room. Missing things were random things like food, book, makeup, it was embarrasing to ask for it, but the staff didint pay attention. Seems like it is normal thing there. Didnt felt safe. If you are planning to stay here, keep all things in lockers at all times. Even such things like dirty underwear. Wanted to leave as soon as possible. Dont want to complain much, as price for the place is low, and perhaps I am too old for hostels, but breakfast included means there is some old bread, ham, cheese and cereals. Its not breakfast, do not expect any vegetables. Showers are decent, bathroom is okay too. There are only two for woman, so had to wait couple times, but it was okay. Also, it looks like sleep is not being paid attention here. I get late arrivals or early leavers, but staff could pay attention to guests sleeping. Shouting and banging doors, never had a normal sleep. And to add the noise from the streets is very loud, unless you want to sleep with windows closed or earplugs. So to conclude: the best part of the stay was the place, its in the main square.

The capsul is good Idea, more comfortable, than ordinary double level beds, but I found the round-pipe stairs very uncomfortable and even dangerous, aspecially to get down. They must have railings and the level choise option.

The Hostel is opened 24/7 for arriving.

Rooms are clean and beds were good. Toilets are small but not a deal breaker. Common room is nice to hangout and breakfast is included. Not to mention the location is perfect, right in the middle of Main Square.

bathrooms are kinda creepy, some of the sinks weren't working the whole time and one of the toilet seats was broken and left next to it when I just arrived. weird.also my room have an artwork of a man sitting on a bench, made on a curtains - and don't get me wrong, it would be amazing - IF someone wouldn't draw a d_ick on him on both windows.at night all the sounds of the city(and drunk people at the street) were delivered straight to our room, so sleeping w/out the earplugs were basically impossible. also they gave me an upper spot bed and I had to climb up and down allll day, and the staircase is ultra slippery and doesn't have a handrail, so my leg got stuck in it while i was climbing, and I felt down so hard my legs still hurts and I have a massive bruises and bumps everywhere lol I'm dumb. it's kinda funny bcause it happened literally on the first day. but that's ok I guess.

kitchen and all of the common areas are adorable and cozy, also staff is extremely nice and helpful.

At the arrival, at the reception they ask for extra money, they claimed ir is the tax they have to pay (something like 10 Kn per night) however it's not much but still it's not reasonable that they charge it out of the online offer, at least it's dishonesty) It's very noisy, also It was not clean enough, especially sometimes the toilets were not clean. Sometimes the showers had cold water ( at least happened to me once)

The location is central and good. And the beds are firm and comfortable. Also includes a humble acceptable breakfast. The kitchen and common area has good equipment.

Hostel in good location. Breakfast included in the price. Nice helpful and smiling staff. Really recommend. Keep in mind that toilets are not in the dorms. They are outside and shared with everyone in the hostel. Not an issue for me anyway.
