I did not want to leave!

Waking up to the most beautiful view on our balcony with fresh coffee and breakfast served by our host was the best part of our day. The second best part of our day was drinking our evening beverages and watching the sunset; a perfect two night stay!

The bed was about the standard level of comfort that we have found in Europe but we would have appreciated a softer bed. Overall though it met our expectations.

Beautiful room in Motovun with very lovely staff who will ensure you enjoy your stay. We received a free glass of wine with check-in and opted for the breakfast option in the morning which was delicious. We also went on the truffle hunting experience offered by one of the sons with the lunch that was also delicious. The view from our balcony was beautiful and definitely the best part of the room.

Don’t expect to be able to use walker with wheels or wheel luggage.

Very comfortable room with terrace. Free parking and transportation provided to and from car park. Host provides breakfast at additional cost if requested. Easy access to all. Be sure to where comfortable rugged shoes. Cobblestones can be challenging!

Host was very responsive to questions and gracious in person. The room was beautiful and well appointed. Bathroom had a wonderful deep tub and a surprise washing machine. :) View from the room was exactly as pictured. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

We loved everything! Make sure you have enough cash to pay for extras, as the town ATM charges a very high fee.

c Charming in every way; from the very friendly staff, the location down a cute narrow pedestrian street in the old town, the room with a large balcony overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside, and the fun truffle hunt with the owner’s son and his 3 dogs with an amazing 4 course truffle themed lunch included (extra charge for the hunt & lunch but well worth it). Also, the room had a washing machine and we were above to do a load and hang the clothes on the line by the balcony to dry.

Motovun is one of my favourite places in Croatia, and our stay in this charming guesthouse exceed our expectations. The room was lovely and comfortable, and Lorena's warm hospitality and kindness made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was an absolute highlight. We enjoyed this on the balcony of our room, in absolute privacy, while looking out at a stunning view and enjoying a veritable feast: tea and coffee, homemde fruit juice, fruit, yogurts, an assortment of cheeses and hams/salami, scrambled eggs, bread and jam, and croissants. Sitting on that balcony and enjoying this wonderful home cooked breakfast was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Thank you Lorena!!

Beautiful room with kitchenette and shower room. Bed linen is wonderfully clean and white. All furniture and fitments are very good quality and our host was very welcoming. Our bikes were stored securely away and there is a small courtyard covered in grapevines for shade right outside the apartment. The air con worked really well and we had a very good night's sleep. It is very nice place with beautiful view of the whole area around Motovun. Room was big enough, clean, bed cosy, with nice bathroom and big balcony. Lady in charge of the house is very polite and respectful.

The road to the property is quite diffecult and the parking isn't too close if you have a lot of luggages. However the owner offered ride when arriving and also when checked out.

Parking instructions weren't super clear at first, but Lorena was responsive and helps drive you down from the entrance to the main (free) parking lot instead of the 10 min uphill/downhill walk!

Lorena and her family are so welcoming and you must coordinate with her son to do the truffle hunting tour. This was such a special experience to go with Mihael and the 3 dogs, then Lorena cooks a multi-course truffle meal in their beautiful garden. The room is simple, but great value for the whole experience. I'd also recommend taking the breakfast since nothing is really open in the morning.
