Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beds were really good, the room was clean and tidy. Hosts were really friendly and helpful. Guaranteed parking spot. Room temperature was perfect for sleeping. Absolutely recommend!

The host was easy to communicate with – open, precise, understanding when some unforseen circumstances arose. The rooms were exceptionally clean. There are some small things that you don't see even if a place is clean and well kept in general, but they were present here – the linen was perfectly straight, there weren't even folding lines; even though the water is hard, there weren't any waterspots on the showerhead or the shower glass etc. I was impressed. If I come to Zagreb solo again, returning here would be on the cards.

I didn't like the fact that there were no microwave oven, kettles, iron, and the courtesy basket with tea bags, coffee, sugar sachets, and at least a bottle of water. For 40 euros per night, that request wouldn't be unreasonable.
The room is reasonably comfortable and is located fairly near the town centre. In fact, at walkable distance. It's air-conditioned. It also contains two windows (one in the room and one in the bathroom) and a door that leads to the balcony. Which makes a big difference with regards to obtaining fresh air. The room is also fairly quiet.

The shower drain does not work well, you need to flush the toilet for water to go down the drain. Not a huge problem though.
It has all that you need; it's clean and tidy. The tram station is right in front.

There is no bad things about it.
I loved the room. it was spacious and had everything we needed. The tram station is also right next to it so you can go anywhere without having to use a car. It was very clena and the staff was extra nice to us. We loved it.

Heating during the evening/night can get a bit weaker, so we were a bit cold. However, that wasn't the case every day, we experienced it only on the first night.
The hosts are very kind and welcoming. They even gave us a water heater when we asked for it. The location is great, there are multiple trams in front of the building that can get you downtown, and it's a short ride. Everything was very clean. All in all, a great choice for a short stay in Zagreb.

We had to park our car on the sidewalk, but on the other hand it was free. The elevator is tiny and it gives off a weird smell.
The apartment was quite spacious and though modestly furnished, it was very clean. We liked the booklets about Zagreb and what to do there. Super friendly and helpful host :)

Randomly there was no duvet just the covers but wasn't particularly a problem.
Room was much bigger than expected. Best room I've had on my trip and it's great value for money.

The host (Igor/Iger) was an amazing guy. We could contact him via text message and he answered all our questions. He was also interested in our travels and gave us some tips on our next destination in Bosnia.

Nothing specifically.
The room was a decent size and had everything I needed for the stay. Although it was a little way out of town, the trams stop just outside the entrance and more than made up for that.
