No elevator, so pack light and not ideal for older or handicapped guests. And always surprising how European bathrooms lack shower curtains. Not the comfiest beds but perfectly adequate. We couldn't figure out the TV but didn't need it either.

Great location in Eger. Wonderful host and staff. Perfect for a family or group of friends hanging out for a longer stay. Has a kitchenette and an outdoor patio. They bring you fresh cold cuts and coffee every morning. Locked parking space worked well. Owner runs the cafe next door, so easy to pop by for a coffee or ice cream.

Finding the check in was a challenge but the host sent the staff out to find us. I don’t think the instructions translate well. The apartment was very hot as it was 35 degrees, with only one fan provided. It really needs a fan in each room as there is no air conditioning. The apartment was a little tired. Worktop scuffed and sealant around it coming away. Shower handle missing so had to hold the shower the whole time. No shower curtain. The outdoor location was full of flies. Had to ask for new light bulbs as a couple of lights not working. Only one chair so hard to relax as a group. Not enough cutlery and crockery.

The location in the centre of Eger was amazing. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Good value for a central location. Once parking had been found this was secure and a bonus. The staff were helpful and reactive when an issue was raised.

I hate to give bad reviews, but I don't think this property warrants the high score it gets on Booking.com. The amenities in the apartment are very poor. The beds were not very comfortable (I could feel springs). When we got there the fridge was unplugged. Everything is in need of an upgrade, especially the bathrooms.

There were several good things about the property - the host and all of the employees we encountered were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast that was brought to the door, along with the coffee were very good and everything tasted great. The property was clean. The location was first rate.

We had been "upgraded" without prior notice to a larger flat without terrace, There was no coffee machine and the oven did not work, also most of the pots and pans were really old and damaged and could not be used to prepare a decent meal. Furthermore, there were mold spots in the bathroom. We complained the very same day and were offered another flat in the same part of the building where we had initially booked with a charming little courtyard the next day. It was an improvement slthoygh ghe coffee machine was very old and all pots and pans not good gor use. Also, there was a very smelly drain in the floor of the first bathroom. The "most luxurious flat we can offer" was much better but still not more than a two star max. We were lucky to spend relatively little time here. In yhis already quite unpleasant situation we had to deal with a very unpleasant, bossy and incompetent landlady also overlooking the cafe/bar downstairs. Fortunately, there was Adam who served as an English translatore and, more importantly, as a competent and empathetic mediator. He saved the situation as he understood the issue and knows what customer satisfaction, hence retention, means! Should he ever run a place, we would not hesitate to go. He is a real gem!

Air conditioning would be a real plus, especially during the summer. Apartment could use some updating, especially the bathroom.

This apartment was large and in a great location, close to several restaurants and near Eger Castle. Staff was very accommodating, even helping us secure a rental car after our borrowed car broke down.

The room was was not as it was represented to us on the booking form specifically no balcony, no washing machine,, and we had to ask for a fan, The cleanliness of the kitchen was substandard and the washroom facilities while useable were substandard with broken shower head holder and no shower curtain. There were spiderwebs throughout the unit.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and congeneal. The owner arranged to have our laundry cleaned free of charge as the laundry facilities were misrepresented on the booking form.

The description indicates the hosts speak English. It was ok, that they didn’t, but do not put it in the description. Also, I had asked about laundry facilities and advised they could do it for an additional fee, which was fine. When I asked about the laundry being taken care of, I was advised there wasn’t enough time. I found a laundromat across town. Honesty would be appreciated, they knew we were staying one night.

Unfortunately we had to leave for a family emergency and had to check out earlier than we expected. We told the manager and they said "well that's really sad but i can't refund you for the night you won't be staying". We felt that was inconsiderate and heartless. They said they would give us a discount for our next stay (?!)

The location is great, in the middle of the small town. The manager of the place was friendly, the staff bring you breakfast in the morning, whichever time you prefer. The apartment has old school furniture which fits the vibe of the old town. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom are all separate and it's spacious. The tv is very old and everything is in Hungarian which was a bit disappointing.

Very old and wore down furniture, utensils, items. Most of wardrobe handles were broken, pillows extremely old and uncomfortable, lack of sufficient dishes such as mugs, cutlery, etc. Some windows had broken handles hence were not able to open. Very weak WiFi- worked only at one spot in the apartment.

The location is truly amazing - at the base of the castle and walking distance to all major attractions. Lovely little town, friendly people. Parking is available at the site free of charge with lockable gate. Easy to find with GPS and instructions from the apartment staff. Breakfast served at the apartment. Although everything is quite old, it was clean.

The apartment and goods are plain old. It is not "ambiance" old; especially the kitchen woods are so old that they smell. To suppress the smell, they applied room spray that made the place smell even worse. That was very unpleasant. The bathroom was likewise not pleasant. Shower cubicles have curtains instead of cabins and it was not comfortable to take a shower. The shower spray and other parts of the spray were very old. In one of the showers there was no wall holder for shower spray and in the other one it did not hold the shower properly. For a tall person like me it was very difficult to take a shower. The apartment was large but I would not enjoy staying there with my family, especially babies or toddlers who crawl around. The beds are comfortable and that's it.

Beautiful terrace where you can sip your drink alone or with friends. The location is unbeatable. I paid 50 Euro per night and it was relatively cheap. Breakfast comes to room and they accept modifications with what you would like to order. Coffee was very good.

Apartments are near the Castle, and in Summer area should be very crouded. Parking is near Apartments. Staff is very helpfull and nice. We stayed just one night. Kitchen was poor equipped, but breakfast was included and we didn't cook.
