Fantastic location, close to main touristic zone and the beach. Shops and other facilities nearby. Very cosy place to stay with good breakfasts.

Train station nearby, sometimes you could hear the trains passing by. Our room could be bigger but i think it was the smallest from the entire villa. The breakfast was good but not too many options to choose.

There is a lot of crows in the street this villa is in and they are very loud and can be heard throughout the night. It wasn't unbearable, but if I for example came with a child or baby I could see how that could be an issue.

Soundproofing is not that great, but with some earplugs you’ll be ok.

Great central location, beautiful old villa. I had the big room with a bathtub in it, perfect for winter evenings, loved it. Breakfast was ok too. The place also has a sauna, but I didn’t use it. Seemed nice though.

Lovely old authentic building, with garden where you can park your car. Location is great if you are not going to public beaches, it would take around 20 minutes to get there. But on other side, it is located 5 minutes or less from lake itself, where are some park with colored musical fountain. Also it would take same time to get to shops and cafes if you go opposite direction from Balaton. Breakfast is great. Spacious room with terrace - it was comfortable there.

You could hear everything that was going on out at the reception from our room. Very noisy mornings. We could hear the staff preparing the dining area for breakfast from 6-7 am. Doors should be changed to something more soundproof.

The breakfast is served at another location 1 km away. You can hear everything outside, because of the old windows and in that night was raining hard. Since it was end of touristic season, no one was in the hotel and the feeling was a bit creepy. The hear drier has started to produce smoke, with high probability of burning and when I told the owner it appeared she was not very interested to take actions. Asked for a glass of still water and didn’t have any.

Broken stuff inside the room - no cold water in the sink, broken locker, no soap in the shower... Breakfast average. For that enormous price it was not worthy at all.

At first it seemed beautiful, but then we noticed all the little things. We had room number 5 with the bathtub. Here’s what was broken/ didn’t work: - the bathroom door couldn’t close - lamps next to the bed didn’t work - fridge wasn’t cold - some windows seemed broken - the room door didn’t lock properly, only after a few tries we were able to lock the door - the thing to control the plug in the bathtub came off - we didn’t have toilet paper when we arrived and because there was no one at the reception most of the time we had to buy our own toilet paper - we also had a bad problem with ants in the room and bathroom, that’s why we requested another room - corners of the room were dusty and dirty The breakfast was okay, but not what you would expect for a 4 Star Villa. A few cold cuts, tomatoes, cucumbers, jam (without spoons to get it out) sausages and the eggs were already empty by 9am. For our last night we stayed in room 2. The Aircon didn’t work and the handle on the bathroom door was broken. Also the shower door wouldn’t close properly and we flooded the bathroom. At least no ants. What really annoyed us was that most of the time no one was at the reception when we had a problem. During breakfast and sometimes around noon someone was there to talk to, but most of the time it was deserted. We would have told them about all the problems, but most of the staff didn’t speak English and when we wanted to check out there was only one person at the desk (at 8am) to take the Keys.

the location was nice and from the outside the Villa was beautiful. The rooms looked nice too, at first sight… what was good is that we got a new room after we complained about ours. The bathtub was good.
