Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalNot a big thing but maybe the timer of the bathroom fan could be set so it runs a few minutes less. It would keep running 30 mins or 1 hour after I left the bathroom (but there is a specific light button for it, so I just stopped pressing it).
Very central, 2 minutes walking away from the basilica and many restaurants close by. Despite this I didn't hear any noise at night because there are no bars. Riverside and the Parliament in walking distance. Very easy to get around as it's very close to many different means of public transportation. Big room, clean and comfortable bed.

CyprusThe facilities in the room were a bit meh. There was no fridge in the room, which was a bit weird. Small tv in a far corner from the bed.
Big room. On a great city location! With comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Clean and quiet with great lighting. Also good air condition for the hot summer days in Budapest! Also a good extra was the humble breakfast they offer you.

United Kingdomit’s a bit noisy during the night. the windows keep a lot of noise out but you can still hear the club nearby. we managed to sleep but I wouldn’t recommend it for a long stay for families.
location - right in the centre and close to everything. staff were nice and helpful. room was big and overlooked the square and Budapest eye. it’s in an old building with round windows, very pretty. bedding was clean, bathroom was new. there was an air con in the room. breakfast was surprisingly good: no hot options but you get coffee from beans, various teas, fresh fruit, cereal, hams and cheeses, fruit juices and milk, yoghurts and kifli (Hungarian crescent shaped bread).

SlovakiaOverall the hotel was very pleasant. However, my wife and I reserved a double or queen bed and room was just two twin beds pushed together. That meant there was a huge gap in between each of the beds. The room is on the smaller end. It just fit a wardrobe and two twin beds (but the bathroom was big). However, we did spend most of the time exploring the city. The breakfast was just OK. It didn't have any warm items. It contained cereal, coffee, juice, bread, cheese, meat, and some yogurts.
The location of the Hotel is awesome. The park across the street is amazing (it has a huge Ferris wheel) and the hotel is centrally located. You can pretty much get anywhere in the city for this spot. There are lots of nice restaurants around the location. We spent most of our time exploring the city. The AC worked great (It was really hot during our visit,). It was always nice to come back to a cool room. The room and everything in it, was also very clean and tidy. Also the shower was amazing! It was one of those huge waterfall shower heads. The check in process was also easy and smooth. We got the keys and then could come and go as we pleased.

RomaniaThe options for breakfast pretty limited, the room was on the small side.
The location it's great, you are in the middle of action. Even though, the place is really quite. The room was really clean and during the hot summer days in Budapest, the air conditioning was a necessity.

United KingdomI had asked for a street facing room, the issue is being in the city centre it was not quite. Did not really bother me but it is worth being aware of this.
The location was right in the city centre near the Basilica and the park, one of many parks in the city. So all the beautiful cafes and the shopping district is a few minutes walk, you can walk to all the sites such as the Parliament.

SerbiaEverything was great, accept sound isolation. We could hear every single neighbour, every single car outside. I hope the hotel can perhaps install some extra panels on the walls to prevent the sound from coming in.
The hotel has a fantastic location and definitely has very nice rooms! The staff was super helpful and they even gave us a few restaurant recommendations that simply were amazing!! I can definitely recommend this place for anyone who is visiting either for business or tourism.
