Breakfast can be better. We requested the staff to book airport transfer when returning. Agreed on 35 euro but was charge higher by the driver. Use bolt is much cheaper.

The entire breakfast experience was terrible. It is hosted in a small room, and if you go at a popular time, you're destined not to be able to sit and eat. The room is also extremely warm and due to the size, very loud. The selection isn't great - it's billed as a continental breakfast, but it's actually just cold meats, cheese, and slices of bread with no pastries. The fruit option was only an apple. The most unforgivable part is that there's no re-fresh of the food, so if the 'best' food runs out, that's the end of it. It runs from 7-10, and we went at 815 most days, so I can only imagine what it's like close to the finish time. It's a very poor choice if you are vegetarian or vegan, and if you have further dietary requirements, I really wouldn't recommend this location. There's no kettle in the room, which would be okay if it wasn't for the fact that twice I went to grab a coffee from the breakfast room only to find the machine was being cleaned, despite visiting during the advertised breakfast hours. There's no full length mirror in the room either, there's no safe in the room for valuables, you get given a single pillow, and the "toiletries" consists of a mystery liquid bottle bolted to the inside of the shower - no label or anything. The unforgivable element of it all was there was extremely loud construction going on above the hotel that we weren't warned about - which started from around 830am and continued long into the day. Whilst there was nothing the hotel could do about the works, being informed in advance would have made a difference. The loud drilling, hammering, and stomping really ruined the stay, and the absolute lack of a warning about this is the reason we would not stay here again.

We were given a huge room, which was excellent, and it had a brilliant view of the park. The bed in the room was fantastic - a firm mattress which was relieving after an entire day of walking through Budapest. The room was air-conditioned and the ensuite was lovely. The location was also second to none. It was very close to really popular tourist locations and restaurants and a short walk to the metro, with bus stops everywhere. The location was perhaps the best part of staying here.

Some eggs and sausages would have been a nice addition to the breakfast. We had a late check in after the reception was already closed. So we knew we had to stop by the reception desk in the morning. Arriving in the middle of the night we needed a bit longer morning, but.... early morning we got a knock on the door from the receptionist who with a bitchy tone and sour face said we had to come to reception for a check in. I mean they are open till 6.30 pm couldn't they wait until their quests get ready? That was extremely rude. The walls of the room were so thin, that the loud Russian speaking neighbours kept screaming in our ears all afternoon. The check out experience was not much nicer. A different receptionist but just as unpleasant as the one we had at arrival. Hotel should really work on their customer service and maybe have their staff sit in front of the mirror and practise pleasant face.

Breakfast was fair. ham, cheese, pastry, coffee, juices. Room was spacious and clean. Very nice size bathroom and water pressure was amazing. Very good location right in the heart of the city centre. Hotel has no parking, but most of the street parking is free during the weekend, and on weekdays from 10pm till 8 am. There are couple of parking garages close to the hotel. But, remember, both street parking and parking garages only take cash, and I mean coins. So come prepared. We had a dog with us, but that was not an issue, so we were very happy about that. There is a park across the street from the hotel and there is even a small fenced dog park. But general rule in Hungary, keep the dog on the leash at all times. If you arrive after the reception is closed (closes 6.30 pm) you'll get instructions to the check in by message. Process is easy and quick, couple of codes and you get the key.,
