Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Its not about not liking, but you need cash to get stuff from the vending machine also for towels. Also, the security who stands there when the receptionists are not available is completely useless. he makes sure to that u don't get the help u need. I had to stay there for 15..20 minutes until the staff came back to reception and the security guy answered no questions. He acted like he couldn't hear me
The stay was good. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff was really helpful.

You had to go upstairs to smoke/vape

Though was described, but the Music sound from the terrace pub & downstairs were way too high till early morning hours. May be good soundproof technics are used to balance the decibel level a bit.

Biggest issue I had was to open the locker with wet hands since it has a built in rfid scanner to open and lock with your keycard.
5 min. walk from city center. Easy to access and staff was helpful. Check-in and check-out process is really fast. I stayed in a 10 bed mixed dorm which is very airy. Linens were clean and recently changed. The bed and pillow were comfy but i had to sleep with a quilt and it was june. They have a roof top bar which is not expensive and a sports bar/night club at the entry level.

It would be super nice if I was provided some little caring stuff such as shampoo etc. I needed it very much. But other than that, there is nothing I can say about disadvantages.
I was impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the bathroom areas. The soap and the toilet paper were always full. The location was perfect in terms of being super central in the city. The rules were clear and everybody obeyed them, making my time there easy and comfortable.

It could be a bit loud during the night as it is a bar on the first floor. But when the windows are closed it is possible to sleep 😁 Btw the hostel is called “Party Hostel”
Stayed for one night The room was clean, and I had everything I needed (like looker, the bed was comfortable, and the furniture was new). The staff is very friendly. And the location is convenient 🙌

The hostel honestly felt too big that I found it hard to meet people outwith my room, there wasn’t really a communal area where people could meet each other apart from the roof top terrace and that closed at midnight and you had to get out when it closed
Big hostel, met lovely people in my room which allowed me to see Budapest’s night life. Staff were super lovely and helpful.

The facitilies were clean and I met so many people. There was a good vube at this hostel and I would definitely go back. I would recommend this hospital to anyone up for a good stay in Budapest.

As it is a hostel you might get unlucky with the roommates, other than that the place is good.
the location is great, if you are travelling on a budget this place is good. The party in the evening is also good.

Toilets and showers had a smell.
Great kitchen facilities. Bar down stairs. Very social hostel. Rooftop bar was great as well. Pub crawl and boat cruise were great although slightly on the expensive side.

Very little. The rooms are very big and house many different guests so do expect some noise from the rowdy ones. But apart from that, this hostel deserves the 10/10.
Fantastic facilities. The toilets were shared among the 2 neighbouring rooms. There were enough well-maintained toilets that you won't mind the vomit left by other guests. The beds were comfortable and the linen was clean. My room was air-conditioned and had sufficient soundproofing such that you could not hear the loud club music coming from right outside. The pubcrawls organised by the hostel was facilitated by the friendliest staff I've met. The reception is always ready to help, and the rooftop bar is such a great addition to an already fantastic location.
