Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandWe really love this place! The location is very good, and you can connect to many restaurants/cafe downtown of Ubud by walk. The private pool villa is impressive! We had a massage at a villa, it was good. Lastly, staff members are very nice and have very good service minds.

A green oasis of calm right in the middle of busy Ubud. You can walk anywhere in 15 minutes or less, including beautiful rice fields. Once inside you can’t hear any noise or traffic. Easy for taxi pick-up/drop-off. Appreciated that it was plastic-free and plenty of drinking water was available for free.

United StatesThe laundry service :( was pretty expensive and it came back smelling weird and still damp. Also, it’s a bit far from stuff but we ended up liking the other side of Ubud better so that’s probably why it feels like that.
Definitely cute property, the room was really well set up with everything you needed. Comfy bed, big bathroom, great shower.

AustraliaThere wasn't anything not to like!
Everything! 11 on Kajeng is a beautiful, oasis in the heart of Ubud. You wouldn't even know you were less than a 10-minute walk from the hustle and bustle of lively Ubud Central. The rooms were stylishly decorated with a timeless antique feel, yet with modern facilities. The staff were exceptional! Thank you to Putu for helping me book my day trips and making me feel so welcome! I can't wait to come back!

United KingdomYou ordered breakfast the night before and it was made to order - it wasn’t very warm. The front entrance of the hotel had lots of steps - fine for us but could be difficult for less active guests
The hotel was small and definitely very stylish. Each room was like a little bungalow- beautiful decor. Bathroom was huge. There was a shared pool but we were the only people to use it during our stay.

NetherlandsVery small boutique hotel with few rooms , so in a low season like January , it can happen to be the only guest for one night or so , and as a solo female traveler , sometimes did not feel safe at night when staff are not around from 12:00 mid night till 7:00 am , however it might not be an issue for some people . Also my room was quite dim so it made it a bit difficult to read before going to sleep .
Staff are helpful , polite, accommodating and friendly . The location is perfect , in a walking distance from Ubud Palace , Kajeng rice field path and Ubud Water Palace . Also very quiet . I stayed in one of the botanical suites , it was very clean with a nice interior design and a comfortable bed .

New ZealandThere are quite a lot of stairs up to the reception if using the access from Jln Kajeng, but there is a very convenient and easy access instead to Jln Suweta, which the staff tell you about.
The room was very spacious, with a small balcony. Gorgeous pool with cool water. It's a very small resort and for a few days I was the only resident, and it felt like my private home. Nice choices for breakfast and plentiful and lots of drinking water provided daily. The staff were always accessible on WhatsApp.

SingaporeNot only is the villa in an exceptionally convenient location (central Ubud, walking distance from Ubud palace and the Saraswati temple), the furnishings, ambience, and exceptionally warm service far exceeded our already high expectations (as we have been to Bali several times now!). Delicious breakfast from a menu of wide choices with fresh fruits and perfectly cooked eggs was served to us each morning by the side of a peaceful and beautiful pool, and on the few occasions we had to order in-room dining the food was extraordinary (the aglio olio, which is a very difficult pasta to get right, was delicious). The design of the facility is such that we don't really feel the presence of other guests and everything feels private and comfortable. The staff were so kind - thank you Putu and Wayan, in every dealing with them they made sure to go the extra mile to bring us more than what we thought we needed and make sure we were comfortable. This will be where we stay the next time we come to Bali.
