Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LatviaLizards came into the room through the hole in the wall (upper corner), even if we kept all windows and doors closed, we got lizards running above TV and I was scared to get other animals/insects to our room same way( So we were sleeping with light on sometimes. Smell of mold in the room is quite strong. We wasn't expecting that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, it is very very small village. Restaurant with shuttle bus really saves the situation.
We liked the view and sounds of Bali nature. Room was spacious and bathroom as well. SmartTV was a great surprise, we watched our shows late evenings. Very good wifi signal. We really liked free shuttle bus to local Restaurant with infinity pool, but it's a shame that transfer worked only until 7pm, so we never went for dinner there. During the day we travelled across Bali, so haven't spent much time in hotel.

IndonesiaSuch a beautiful place, lovely room and lovely people. Great location for the elephant park and ceking rice terraces. They also have a shuttle bus to take you to their sister company’s restaurant which was great.

UkraineThe only minus is that there are few cafes nearby.
I liked everything, a very beautiful and peaceful place. Good and friendly staff. View of mountains and jungle, very charming. The room has everything you need, it is quite clean. There is also a common kitchen, which is quite convenient. I was satisfied, I plan to come back again.

ItalyIt's a hidden gem, and I liked the place a lot! Surrounded by jungle and rice fields. Perfect for several days escape from the noise of the city. One suggestion: bring the food with you, since they don't have a restaurant, but very well equipped kitchen on each floor.

FranceLocated in a quiet space, surrounded by rice fields, beautiful and clean bedrooms, shared kitchen on each floor with full cooking equipment. Far from the restaurant, you should travel by motorbike, rent a motorbike through the hotel reception if you do not want to walk far to find a place to rent a motorbike.

AustraliaThis property being in a remote area has no catering, no restaurant, no breakfast not even bottled water in the room that is generally standard in every other hotel I've stayed in in Bali. The person at reception spoke very little English which normally is not a bit problem however when trying to sort something out regarding the food situation they had to phone someone to speak to me and arrange. Incidentally the option provided was to take me to a very expensive resort restaurant, no other option provided. The room has a leaky tap in the bathroom so you can hear water trickling down the drain all night. There is bright lights outside the room so even with the curtains closed the light comes through making it difficult to get to sleep. It seems that voices carry straight through the walls as the couple arguing in the room next to mine for over an hour came straight through. My message to reception was not responded to until after 1am, which by then I had finally got to sleep.
Nothing comes to mind

When you’re outside the building you wouldn’t imagine that you would be walking into such a hidden paradise. Abian taksu was one of my favourite stays in Bali. The view, the mountains, nature sounds. Everything was just so beautiful. And the staff was great and very helpful. If I come back to Bali will definitely book again

AustraliaBreakfast states on the booking that it is included. IT IS NOT. This is very rare for Bali accommodation to not include it and the local restaurant options for breakfast were expensive and this became a big expense. If there is no breakfast included then it is wrongly advertised on my booking and this is false advertising. I was staying with family who chose this property and we all had breakfast included stated on our bookings😨The room was extremely musty smelling and this smell stayed the whole stay. Our clothes smelt musty and when we got home we had to wash every item even if we hadn’t worn it as the smell was so strong through all of our clothes. Pleasant to be out of the hustle and bustle of central Ubud but too far out. Too costly and distance too far in taxi costs. The novelty wore off after a couple of days. I ended up booking 3 nights in central Ubud for $28 per night including a beautiful breakfast for my daughter and I and this was a relief.
The staff were always consistently warm, helpful and very hospitable. The pool and setting was nice and the location set amongst the Padi fields was pleasant. The bed was comfortable.
