Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndonesiaWifi was slow and hot water was not available 1 day before we left the hotel.
Location is close to the kuta beach, discovery mall and surrounded by food stalls/restaurants. Staffs were friendly and nice.

AustraliaThis was a beautiful hotel staffed right in Kuta, conveniently close to the airport, which was why I moved there after my Sanur stay. The water was in the room was hot, the pool clean and lovely for a swim at any time of the day. Staff were always smiling and when asked for something, were always able to assist. I booked the ground floor pool access room for a two night stay, right at the end of my relaxation Bali holiday.

LithuaniaThe room is a bit worn off but other than that, everything was great!
The property is in a good and convenient location and the Bali airport is right away! We enjoyed the nice and calm pool area as well as huge and spacious bed in the room. In addition, the breakfast was very tasty and offers quite a lot of variety. Lastly, the staff was friendly 😊

AustraliaA downside was that the Wi-Fi was pretty hit-and-miss. Sometimes it worked fine, but at other times, it was slow or dropped out completely, which could be frustrating if you needed to stay connected. Although the breakfast had a decent variety, it was fairly basic and didn’t change much day to day. If you’re staying for a longer period, you might find yourself wanting a bit more variety. The pool area, while fantastic, could get quite busy at times. Finding a spot to relax wasn’t always easy, especially during peak hours when everyone wanted to be by the water.
A fantastic choice for a budget-friendly stay. The location is perfect—right across from shopping, close to restaurants, and just a short walk to the beach. It’s super convenient and great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. While not the biggest, it was well set up with a comfy bed, good air-con, and regular housekeeping keeping it fresh. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool—a great place to unwind and cool off. The pool bar staff were fantastic, always ready with a drink and a friendly chat, making the experience even better. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day out exploring. The breakfast was decent too, with a mix of Indonesian and Western options, fresh fruit, and eggs cooked to order. Nothing over the top, but a solid way to start the day. The staff throughout the hotel were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The Balinese hospitality really shone through, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Adhi Jaya Hotel is a great pick for a well-priced, comfortable stay in a top location. It’s not a high-end resort, but if you want good service, a clean and comfy room, and a relaxed vibe, it’s well worth considering. I’d definitely stay again!

AustraliaNot enough towels provided in room. And we were upstairs. The rooms look different to what they advertise on their website. Rooms are not soundproof so you hear everyone walking past.
Great location as it’s right off one of the main streets in Kuta. Close to shops, restaurants and Waterbom park.

AustraliaThe restaurant food was overpriced and cold. Some of the male staff pushy for tips.
The hotel is top notch, rooms big and comfortable, aircon cold, no mozzies, beautiful setting. Right on the busy street yet cannot even hear the noise once you step inside. Lots of stairs but staff can carry your bags and help.

AustraliaThe big tour groups. We did not get a welcome drink but these groups were given premium hospitality is sad as we are frequent travellers to the hotel, and were not made to feel as important as these big tour group. Also these groups were very loud and on two occasions - kept us up until almost 1am. Nothing was done to quite these groups.
