Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWe loved our stay, thank you for looking after us. It's around 10 minutes walk into the main centre + another 10 minutes to some of the cafes/bars we liked. You can only access the accommodation on foot or bike. We loved the pool area which was a tropical oasis and the bed was very comfortable.

Everything! The staff, the villa, the pool! Such quirky designs to all the areas of the villa. The bed was the comfiest bed we have ever stayed in. We pool was lovely - really big for the villa’s size. The staff were so lovely, Made was extremely attentive and helpful. The villa/pool overlooks a large field area which is lit up with fireflies in the evening - so entertaining and calming to watch.

MexicoThe fact that you need to walk around 10 minutes to get into the Main Street (sometimes dark at night), however, the staff can take you by scooter. Not a big deal to be honest, it is a very safe place.
The location, the villa decoration and atmosphere. The staff was very friendly with a high sense of hospitality. The breakfast is great

New ZealandAwesome place to stay, only accessible on foot or by scooter about 10 minutes walk from the main road. Lots of little warungs and cafes and little shops along the path, the staff will pick you up and run you down to the main road on their scooters if you want. Staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful. Great location easy walk into central Ubud and they arranged a driver for us to do a bit of sightseeing as well. Loved our stay here and would be happy to go back.

United KingdomI hadn't brought any flip flops, so found standing on the stones in the shower a little uncomfortable and unsteady. It would have been nice if the mini bar was restocked during our stay as we drunk the beer on our night of arrival and it was never replaced. Not a huge thing though we simply bought some from the local warung or shop before returning to the villa in the evening.
We loved everything about Airsania. The remoteness, the people, the room..... We arranged to be picked up at the airport, and our driver was there to meet us. He dropped us off on the main road where we were met by staff on mopeds and taken to the villa via the winding path to Airsania and shown to our room. by this point is was late, but we sat and took in the beauty and the sounds of the rice field in front of us and marvelled at how amazing our room was. It did not dissapoint in the morning light either. Breakfast in the morning delivered to the room was fantastic. We had the traditional Nasi goreng with fresh fruit and fruit juice, tea and coffee. The Nasi goreng at Airsania would be the tastiest of the holiday! The bed was awesome. Super comfortable, infact better than my own!!! Loved it, absolutley amazing. We enjoyed our walk down to the main road, which takes about 15 minutes, passing a few Warungs on route and a silver workshop where you could make your own ring, which we indulged in one of the days. The room was well appointed with fridge, tv, robes etc. The pool was lovely and refreshing, and we had a tokay Geko visiting as well. It was lovely to sit and listen to nature, watch the fireflies and just chill. The path leading to the villa can be quite dark in the evening, but a torch was provided in the room if you don't have your own. Made and Kadek were excellent hosts and very helpful and friendly as were all the other staff. We loved this place.

The villa was decorated for our honeymoon. Everyone made us feel special. The location was PERFECT too. Near the rice fields and close to the main area of Ubud yet felt private. It was luxurious and wonderful. The staff were all extremely accommodating plus they made communication super easy. Would stay again a million times!

The villa was like an oasis away from the busy streets of Ubud Centre. While it was lovely walking around Ubud centre it was also nice to come back to the peace and quiet of our villa and have our private pool to cool off. The 10 minute walk to and from Ubud centre is also really nice, along a paved walkway with a few nice warangs, cafes and rice paddies. The staff at Airsania were also exceptional. Very friendly, helpful and also discrete. The bed was super comfortable and the kettle, tea and fridge were handy. There are at least three yoga places that overlook rice paddies within 100-200metres walk of the villa. We went to The Yoga House for 7.30 yoga for 165,000rupiah (1.5 hours) and it was excellent.
