The superior rooms with the balcony had no sound isolation at all. It was hard sleeping with the wind and the noises from outside. Also, the reception staff leaves at 22h so there was a big group of guests that started a pool party with lots of noise that didn’t allow us to sleep

The room we were in was great for the view, but guests kept taking selfies right in front of the room and blocking the view. Not much privacy.

The only downside was the breakfast, which was served cold. While the food options were decent, the temperature of the dishes definitely affected the overall experience. Hopefully, this is something they can improve upon.

We had a fantastic stay at Alana Penida Boutique Hotel on Nusa Penida! The location is perfect—tucked away in a peaceful area but still conveniently close to popular attractions like Keling King Beach and Angel's Billabong. You get the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to Nusa Penida's stunning sights. The room was immaculate and spacious, with modern amenities that made the stay extra comfortable. The design was stylish yet cozy, and the bed was super comfy, which made relaxing after a day of exploring a real treat. The standout aspect of this hotel is definitely the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. From arranging tours to offering local recommendations, they made the experience that much more enjoyable. Overall, Alana Penida Boutique Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Nusa Penida. Whether you're here for a romantic getaway or an adventure-filled trip, this place offers the perfect base with great service and a wonderful location. Highly recommend!

The only negative thing I have to point out is the level of noise that was allowed by the guests at night ..on both nights I did not manage to get a full night f sleep and was woken up after 1am and again from 5am onwards by the noisy /drunk guests shouting from one room to another as if they were at a market! Unfortunately the staff (although they were always helpful and friendly) in these cases they do not intervene and ask the noisy guests to keep quiet during these hours and each time I had to go out of my room myself to ask them to shut up.

Oh the place was lovely, I wish I could have stayed an extra night! It is actually nicer in person than the photo's. The staff are very sweet and friendly and the breakfast was Devine!

Included breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed sitting on the sun beds looking over the ocean. The gentle sound of the waves was soothing. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We rented scooters and explored the island. The night market was a quick 3 min scoot down the road for a tasty cheap local dinner option.

No kitchen. Can get noisy depending on other guests, the walls seem thin but overall it was good.

Comfy beds, nice pool and close access to the beach. Good internet speed (10mbs download, 40mbps upload) which os quite rare for the island.

I thought the air conditioner was put in the wrong place, it was not as efficient as I would have liked, I had to sit in the flow of it to get some relief, it would have been better facing the beds,

Had a Balinese massage by the pool by a freelance masseuse recommended by the staff and it was extremely painful even after asking her to go soft. Would recommend trying one of the nearby spas instead.

The location is 10/10 with stunning beach views from the beautiful pool deck. Instagram worthy! Bed was huge and really comfy and everything was super clean. Breakfast was delicious and staff were all so lovely and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Very very noisy as the ocean could be heard throughout the whole night. The ocean in front is not swimable, leaving you only with the pool as an option. Nothing to do nearby the property. Breakfast looked great but wasn’t incredible.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was very clean, staff were super friendly, oceanfront and breakfast every morning was delicious. Water was provided in room. They arranged scooters for us and a car to the ferry. Cannot swim on the beach here but close to other beaches. Restaurants and stores all close by.

The views are truly the highlight, making it worth every penny spent. One thing to note though, the sound of the waves at night is quite intense, which woke me up. If you’re a light sleeper, they thoughtfully provide earplugs, which I highly recommend using.

I recently had an amazing birthday getaway at Alana Penida and it was an unforgettable experience! The hotel offers stunning views !!! You can watch the sunrise directly from your room and seeing my first-ever sunrise here was absolutely breathtaking. The entire vibe of Alana Penida feels like a slice of Greece with beautiful architecture and scenery that made the stay feel extra special. Beyond the views, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond, especially Tilana (I hope I got her name right), she was incredibly friendly and well-trained. Another staff member (unfortunately, we forgot his name) was super helpful when my husband had a small issue with the motorbike we rented. He jumped right in and helped fix the camera holder and side mirror after we had a minor accident. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay at Alana Penida and will definitely return if I visit Nusa Penida again ✨❤️
