Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaI found everything to be perfect
Beautifully designed and decorated, surrounded by rice fields, the outdoor bath was AMAZING and the staff were all friendly and very helpful. 20 min scooter ride to central Ubud with magnificent views on the way.

RussiaThe villa is absolutely new, cozy and clean. We spent 2 weeks there and we really enjoyed it. The villa will fit for those who want to feel authentic atmosphere of Ubud and relax from the noise and traffic. We had a scooter and it took us only 15 min to reach Tegellan rice terraces, 25 min to Ubud downtown. The staff is SO polite and kind. They did everything we asked and even more. They served floating breakfast for free and filled the bath with rose petals for free as well. The internet was super fast. We’ve just checked-out and already miss it. Highly recommended to stay there for a week al least. Would be ideal for romantic getaway or to spend time with your family and kids. Once again would like to thank Amaya Sebatu Villas for hospitality ♥️

United Arab EmiratesThe room wasn’t particularly clean and some tiles were falling off the bathroom walls. There was a lot of mold in the bathroom, and lots of bugs around the room (not really the resort’s fault).
The staff are friendly and the swimming pools are nice

AustraliaThere’s algae in the pool. Staff broke our luggage as it was too heavy and they dropped it. Location is a bit far and Grab cannot reach. Hired driver from the villa is expensive.
The place was very homey and not to mention the outdoor toilet was very nice.

PakistanLack of microwave, we were told there was halal food, however the chicken was not halal so we had to eat breakfast without any meats. There was no ironing board. Sheets were asked to be changed but they were just made again with the stains just changed to other sides.
The property was beautiful with our own rice terrace and beautifully decorated, looked straight out of Pinterest. Staff were helpful with requests, especially removing creepy crawlies from our room.

New ZealandThe bathroom had lots of green mildew, needs a good water last to remove. Double check the location, it is far out from Ubud, I couldn’t even get a motorbike or scooter to pick me up.
Cute little villa out in a small village surrounded by rice paddies. There is a really nice restaurant ten minutes walk away called Evicurious which had delicious food and lovely views.

RomaniaPretty far from center of Ubud and hard to reach if you don’t have a car. If you are a light sleeper there are a lot of animals that make noise in the night unfortunately
The room and pool look like in the picture and it is clean . Breakfast ok but not so many options unfortunately

Quiet, cozy, comfortable rooms. Can rent motorbike and taxi from the hotel itself. Very helping staff.

AustraliaSo we didn’t realise this Villa was so far away from everything and without transport this makes it very difficult. We thought it would be easier to get drivers than it was. We ended up hiring a scooter, even though we didn’t really want to do this. The scooter had next to no tread on the tyres and not a lot of fuel. There was some room service options although very minimal. Breakfast options also minimal and a mixed bag. My healthy muesli was nice, my husbands American breakfast was very ordinary. The ‘fresh juice’ was not fresh. We had a rat in our room the first night which made it hard to sleep. Our canopy had a blood stain on it that wasn’t pleasant to look at. Most times there was only one staff who had to do everything: cleaning rooms, cooking breakfast, receptionist and bike/ car hire. This meant there were times when we were waiting for service as he was so busy.
The Villa was as described. It was very beautiful and well decorated and thought out. Loved the plunge pool. The two staff we meet were lovely and always tried to be helpful.

AustraliaBreakfasts and overall food selection is very poor. The road to get there is not the best. It's 30 min from ubud. Not much around there. No proper restaurants within 30 min
Nice location between Ubid and volcano. But it's 30 either way, so keep it in mind.

RussiaWe booked the villa based on a reviews however most of them are fake and do not match with the reality AT ALL 1)Staff doesn’t know a word in english, only gestures communication. You couldn’t order anything, you need to spend 5 minutes to explain what you want. And after this you will receive American breakfast instead of americano 2)Spa doesn’t exist, there is some local woman who to handle the nails. Massage is expected to be made on a bed. 3) Wi-fi is a joke, speedtest shows 3mbps. It is 10 time slower than a phone connection 4)Villas view is like in a cave, beautiful rice fields are covered by the wall 5) TOO LOUD NEIGHBORS WITH KIDS started to shout at 7 a m 6) Food is mediocre 😣 7) The final kill- only 2 bottles of water are free, everything else is extra
Villa is brand new and has a fancy design. It has everything what you might need
