The whole stay exceeded what we expected from the property. Staff were exceptionally friendly and warm towards us.Our room was located in a quiet area with great views and lovely ambience. Could not fault a thing during our stay.

I booked a Rice Terrace View Room at Ananda Ubud Resort during my short stay in Ubud. It happened to also coincide with Nyepi - Balinese New Year. On that day, nobody (the local populace as well as tourists) are allowed to leave their homes or hotel properties. This is observance of the Day of Silence, where electricity is not used for outside lighting. I had a very lovely stay during this time. My room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The room also had a spacious bathroom, a patio, and was close to a small pool overlooking a patch of rice paddy. The atmosphere in this property is very serene. The paths are covered in foliage and walking around is very refreshing. The property is quite spread out as well. The staff are very polite and helpful. The Resort's location is about 2 km from Ubud city centre, and is accessible by walking (not recommended at night due to lack of footpaths in certain spots), cabs or rideshares are easy to find. Please do consider Ananda Ubud Resort for your stay, I'd highly recommend it!.

Very cozy and very beautiful hotel with many authentic details. The hotel area is very large, there are paths, bridges over rivers. The staff is very helpful. I recommend 100%

The AC had trouble keeping the room cool midday on sunny days.

Being next to the jungle overlooking the rice patties. Staff was so friendly and kind.

Ananda Cottage was a 5 star experience for us ! It was our hotel best experience of all time ! This hotel is a peaceful place surrounded by nature. The services provided and the attention to details are of very high quality. If you’re looking for a little piece of paradise to escape and relax, this is for you. Thanks to all the team who made our stay amazing. Special mention to Sudiasa who took care of us and our room like no one else. We will definitely recommend Andanda Cottage to everyone!

Wifi quality was sub-par and our second-floor room bathroom was designed such that water was everywhere after each shower :)

This is something amazing, like you've got to paradise. Large territory with 3 swimming pools, merged with natural surroundings and adjacent rice fields. The place is relaxing and ideal for yoga classes. Rooms are well balanced combination of traditional and functional style. Breakfast is nothing out of the ordinary.

The rooms need some upgrade and extra cleaning in some sports. I didn’t like that it didn’t have the hair conditioner. And body wash and shampoo smelled like old..

My aircon was noisy as it is older and not so cold A ceiling fan on the veranda would be a bonus No enough options to fill up reusable water bottles with drinking water

My room was big and comfortable- the outdoor day bed awesome. The daily water in glass bottles was fabulous- liked the eco approach. Staff were so helpful and friendly. The pools - all 3 - what a treat Gardens - beautiful gardens - wildlife love it - frogs, birds, lizards, bees, turtles, fish, squirrels- wow - heaven Ananda is in such a good location- quick scooter to town, lovely walk out in the rice fields, walk to town by laneways or road, or stay local & eat, massage, art, coffee, cocktails - all just across the road Bliss Spa was so nice I especially liked my outdoor bathroom - so special And was thankful for the big umbrella

In bath room there is no a hook to hang towels - this is really frustrating for us

Cleanliness wasn’t great unfortunately lots of bugs but to be expected since it is the tropics but two cockroaches were found in my bathroom and it wasn’t pleasant. Still got cleaned up as soon as needed.

Great location, comfortable and a nice villa by the pool!
