Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaLocation was a bit isolated. Not ideal when travelling with a family (no Grab; overpriced taxis).
Beautiful gardens and ocean view. Amazing restaurant nearby (Gusto).

The staff are nice, the two bedrooms bungalow is awesome and exceed our expectations. Come with a small kitchen and day bed, you can make coffee and enjoy the view in the morning. The massage is a must try!

SpainThe only thing I miss it was to have a good coffee in the restaurant, they only offer kopi (the Balinese coffee)
This place is just perfect. My room was number 5, high enough to don’t get any noise from the road. They come to clean everyday, everything was so clean and well conserved. Loved the views of the ocean from the bed and the outside sofa. I worked from there everyday and the WiFi was pretty good. The bed was comfortable and the room very silent at night. Didn’t use the kitchen a lot but it was nice to have one. And all the staff is very friendly and kind, they helped me a lot always with a smile. Had dinner there many nights (always good food), enjoyed some time in the pool… Booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for a week. Didn’t really want to leave. After 2 months in Bali this hotel is where I feel the most comfortable.

Switzerlandthe road that goes underneath the place can be quite loud sometimes. as can the geckos sitting on the roof. earplugs recommended.
Nice place to relax. Beautiful Snorkeling Spits within walking distance or easy to access with scooter. The staff was siper friendly. i especially liked the little kitchen to make my own cup of coffee and the outdoor area of the villa to hang out and read or get some work done on my computer.

Fabulous place set up on the hill with amazing ocean views and gorgeous manicured gardens. We had a two bedroom villa with so much interior and exterior space including two day beds and dining table with a view and a handy little kitchen. Great food delivered to the room if you wish. Washing done in a day, so cheap! Huge pool which you often have all to yourself. Friendly staff and a great spa onsite. The snorkelling in this area is fabulous. Could easily never leave!!

AustraliaMy pillow was a bit too high for me. It would be good to have the option to choose a lower pillow. This didn't impact my stay though. I loved it.
My room, which looked through beautiful vegetation to the sea, was big and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the daybed outside, admiring the view in the cooling breeze. I had breakfast and dinner here - both were great. I had a lovely spa treatment each day. It was so nice to relax in my room close by afterwards. The staff were super helpful. I didn't have my own transport, so they happily gave me a lift to places nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

CanadaThe location was good. The staff was very friendly and easily assisted with renting a scooter. The room was comfortable and honestly as clean as it could be considering the geckos. Yes. They pooped a lot, but this area had a lot of bugs, you’re basically nestled into a cliff side. As much the geckos pooped a lot, I think I would have had to deal with way more bugs if they weren’t there so I’m more grateful for them than annoyed.

Loved our stay, both the Anda Amed and the little area around. Lovely large villa overlooking the pool and ocean, stunning gardens, comfy beds, huge lounging space on the balcony (great place to take meals), good kitchen facilities (was nice to have a morning of self catering as a change from the Bali brekkys, as lovely as they are), staff very attentive and kept our room super clean every day. The area around (actually Bununtan, which is east of Amed) is fantastic. Much more walkable than other parts of Bali we visited. We had a couple of great meals at the Anda itself (excellent smoothie bowl), but there are so many options nearby - Gusto next door is superb; Warang Sabar a few hundred metres away also delicious and amazing value. Then there's a mini mart and chemist super close making things very convenient. Lipah beach is a 10-15min walk, but for better snorkeling go to 'Wayan Snorkeling' which is 5 mins walk, access through Puri Wirata. Can snorkel there for great fish views, or take a boat trip to turtle point (we saw 5 turtles). Amed is a very relaxing, lovely place and Anda Amed is an excellent place to be!

AustraliaI guess it was difficult to get to the beach Access from across the road 😕 very uneven track 👣 Also the Taxi service could improve as it was very difficult to have consistent transport around the village. 🙂
The view from my room was spectacular. I woke each day to a clear view of the ocean . Also the spa treatments massage were very relaxing . The cooking l enjoyed exploring Some balinese menus . Each staff member presented themselves with upmosr care and consideration for my needs. Especially if l required anything for my room exc they were on the Ball. The beautiful girls made flowers with me the first night which was lots of fun .Thank you to all the staff at the Anda Amed Villas Bali. SwitzerlandIf you're squeamish, you should know that you'll share the villa with geckos. That's a good thing, they eat mosquitoes. What was unexpected was the amount of droppings everywhere - the floor in the bathroom, bedroom, the table, that mug you left on the table, your bag you casually left open on the floor - anything could end up with a "present". Cleaning staff did their best, but these geckos were clearly eating well, because new droppings appeared every few hours. I've lived with geckos before (normal in Asia), but never experienced anything like it. I suspect it may be due to the roof/ceiling design with plenty of crossbeams for them to hang out and drop their bombs from.
Everything was great. The villas are in a beautiful, well maintained garden, and as far as I could tell, all of them have a nice sea view. The private sitting area by the villa was cozy and the kitchenette was a nice addition. Big plus for the giant water dispenser for each villa, refilled regularly. The rooms need some maintenance, but any little problem was immediately resolved by the staff. The staff was great - not only friendly but also very helpful.

CanadaA bit far away from town, but easy to get to with a scooter rental. Construction right out front and next door. I was thinking it was closer to the beach but it’s one the other side of the main road and no real beach access- scooter to many others easily, though.
Pool, people, and food were great. Had a nice view and felt private.

United StatesOur stay at Anda Amed Resort and Spa was truly amazing. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The villa we stayed in had an incredible view of the ocean, and we loved just sitting on the terrace, soaking in the scenery. We made multiple visits to the spa and the traditional Balinese massages were out of this world—so relaxing! The restaurant was great too, with really fresh food. The staff was super accommodating with my gluten and dairy allergies, which I really appreciated. Plus, the location couldn’t have been better for exploring the coast, snorkeling, and even heading inland for some sightseeing. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff made us feel so welcome and took care of everything. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
