Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere was a small risk from mosquitoes but the hotel fumigate the outside areas on a weekly basis. I also sprayed my legs and arms with DEET every day.
A very nice hotel close to the monkey forest. We had two superior rooms with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Members of my party gasped when they saw the view from their balcony. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and I particularly remember the young lady who served my breakfast each morning. The poached egg on toast was superb. As a bonus one evening the hotel had a live performance of the Balinese dances BARONG and JOGED. If I ever get back to Ubud I would certainly use this hotel again.

United KingdomReally loved our stay at Anumana. Everyone was so helpful and friendly at Anumana. Everyone always checks on you to make sure you are okay. They really went above and beyond on my birthday - had a room set up, and my husband had planned a romantic dinner, which was absolutely stunning. Although not a buffet option for breakfast ( room service option available for those morning you want a lay in). They have so many choices on their menu for breakfast and absolutely delicious. The staff really made the stay enjoyable. We will be staying here again should we return to bali.

SpainNot big issues but the thing with the bathroom door blocking the air conditioner. The lighting was difficult to figure out, one light couldn´t be turned off easily, something wrong with the switch. The service at breakfast was a bit slow.
Everything. The location was superb. The lagoon view room is a must stay. It is ginormous as well as the bathroom. Super comfy bed, the pillows not so much. Good air conditioning always that you keep the bathroom door closed, otherwise it blocks it. The stone bathtub is incredible and loved the divided spaces in the bathroom. The pool is like a lagoon in the middle of the forest of Ubud without going out of the hotel. Very well laid out. Loved Loved the ambiance, the tranquility and the relaxation there. Great water temperature even with the Ubud humidity. The breakfast was delicious and this simply was the icing to the cake. Loved they had fresh juices. Great service from the front desk that helped us out with a suitcase problem and also with a very early request for breakfast.

AustraliaEverything was amazing!
We stayed 3 nights and chose Anumana due to the location and proximity to another resort we had to attend a wedding at. Anumana was a beautiful resort set amongst the jungle trees. We chose a lagoon access room and it was perfect and the staff were beyond amazing!

United KingdomEverything! The staff were so friendly. The hotel was very clean and inviting. The food was amazing. They organised us an adventure tour in which we saw everything that Ubud is famous for. Everything was perfect. Our favourite hotel in Bali! It was so nice we actually returned when we went to our next hotel and were unsatisfied. Anumana welcomed us back and helped us in a difficult situation with no accommodation!

AustraliaThe pool was cleaned daily however it had a cloudy look to it so we didnt swim in it.
Every staff member was delightful and was my favourite thing about this hotel - Sophie at the restaurant was a sweetheart, reception always greeted you with the biggest smile as you walked past, housekeeping and even security guard all very friendly!! Being seated for check in and then taken to the restaurant afterwards for a welcome drink all felt so nice, it really kick started a great vacation. Bed was very comfortable, location was great with plenty of restaurants around and monkey forest just a few minutes walk. Breakfast can be chosen from a menu and comes with tea & fruit platter. The western options werent tasty but the Indonesian options were delicious. If you miss breakfast due to an early start, they can arrange a breakfast box of pastries & juice. We were able to pick up a breakfast box from reception at 1.30am before our Mt Batur sunrise hike.
