Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NorwaySome bathrooms a bit smelly at times (due to rainy season?). The rooms could benefit from a "deep cleaning" a couple of times per year. The place is not soundproof, but there was not a lot of noise during my stay.
This is a good place to stay with very friendly staff, a nice pool, and spacious rooms with good AC. Considering the price per night it is to expect that the rooms are a bit old, the bathrooms mildly smelly and show some wear and tear, and that you occationally meet a geko, bug, or some mosquitoes in your room. In my experience this is completely normal for the price range. The place has no non-smoking rooms, but I didn't notice any smell in mine, and the staff let you choose your room so check more than one! Also, if you want the room cleaned extra well, all you have to do is ask the staff. They are extremely accommodating. The pool was clean during my stay, and I went swimming almost daily. A recent review criticized the road next to the place (among other things). I do not know why; yes, traffic is dense, but there are two pedestrian crossings close by, and as any place in Jakarta u have to find the right moment to cross and the traffic let you through. I stayed here for two weeks, and not so many western tourists come here. The local area is interesting, and this is a perfect base for a couple of days - or longer - exploring southern parts of Jakarta. I can recommend: - Check out the small local park called Taman Langsat a little south of this place (makes a good morning run) - Try eating at Rumah Makan Putra Minang (Padang food), some of the best, and extremely affordable - There are several more high-end places around, but I never cared to check them out. - Explore the local Pasar, Pasar Mayestik and the textile shops in the area. The pasar food court serves yammy Bakso. - Blok M with shops and food markets is approx 20-30 minutes walk away, or a 15-20 000k Gojek scooter ride. I had a pleasurable stay here, and would recommend the place if you are not scared away by my review :-)

United StatesThe housekeeping staff didn’t wash the mugs, plates and utensils in their kitchen instead cleaned them in the bathroom, it’s so gross 🤮 Pillows are dirty, they don’t have pillow covers and I can see a lot of stains on them, it’s so disgusting 🤮. They should have washed their pillows or put pillow covers under the pillow cases.

NetherlandsI stayed in this hotel more than 4 times since 2021. In every stay I notice the receptionist always busy with his mobile phone. The 2 security guards are always very friendly and ready from early morning until late night.

NorwayWe had high expectations due to the rating, but for the first time in our lives, we actually ended up forfeiting any refund or any nights, a decision we made gladly and without any regret. We'd been put into a smoking room, which the atmosphere and the stench really drove home. The room was dirty - worse than anything we've seen in Indonesia. The bathroom was covered in scales, the pool was grimy and murky and the showerhead made both of us nauseous. The yellow tinge on everything in the room and the sticky residue on the walls from smoking made us question when the place was last cleaned. Not to mention the sticky trails on the nightstands. The location wasn't ideal. If one is used to Indonesian traffic and the culture regarding crossing the street, them maybe it's better than we could see. The traffic made it impossible for us to cross, and so we couldn't see much of the area. The street is _very_ busy. Leaving, we were told there would be no refund, which we were okay with - we ordered non-refundable, so that's just how it is. The reception paid for our taxi to the next location, which we appreciated. They also offered us a non smoking room, but at that point, we had just had it with the hygiene, or lack thereof. I recommend paying for refundable bookings. Don't trust the ratings blindly.
The staff were nice and friendly.
