Loved the friendly staff, Balinese style cottages, beautiful gardens and pool area. On a main street, close to Yoga Barn, Monkey Forest, lovely cafes and restaurants and other attractions.

United StatesI rated a 9 only because of the monkeys! I was doing yoga on the porch one morning when a monkey interrupted me so I ran inside of the room, not thinking to grab my belongings. The monkey took my AirPods and water bottle which I later got back but it was a bit scary to see how it saw me and chased towards me with teeth showing. A worker soon came with branches to scare the monkeys away. This isn’t anything against the hotel - just be mindful of your belongings when using outdoors and always use the monkey locks on your bedroom door - just in case!
The welcoming staff were amazing! They showed us around, answered questions, and were helpful whenever we needed them. The room and other facilities were clean and spacious. The pool is beautiful and so is the area in general!

Breakfast was delicious and wide variety of choices. Lication is amazing and the place has a beautiful old Bali feel. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Staff very helpful and friendly.

United StatesLovely little oasis in the middle of Ubud central. You'd never know how close you are to great restaurants and attractions. Quiet and restorative. Nice pool and the staff are kind and helpful. Feels like you are in Bali, which is exactly what I wanted.

United KingdomOur cottage was a bit dark as it only had one window and dark furnishings but that was the location of the cottage not a fault of the hotel.
The staff were outstanding, they were friendly, efficient and could not do enough for us. Good breakfasts which were well presented with care. Excellent location in the centre of town but it provided a little oasis of calm just off the Main Street. Pool was superb with plenty of sun beds. The whole place was well maintained and due to a storm earlier in the year they were very professionally replacing the paving around the property to a very high standard. Even the background music was delightful.

United KingdomThoroughly enjoyed our stay of 11 days here. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly with the team always up for a chat or tips. We also had lovely chats with some of the other guests staying a little longer. We had a lovely room with garden view towards the rear surrounded by a lovely lush garden. The pool is great with plenty sun loungers and sizeable to do laps. As soon as you walk of Jalan Hanoman into the hotel the car noises dissipate and wildlife sounds take over. Added bonus where the 5 kittens.

United Arab EmiratesWhile some of the rooms are a bit dated (specifically the bathrooms) the hotel now is doing a good job renovating them.
I absolutely love this hotel in Ubud. Value for money and location (great places to eat nearby are Kafe, Atman, Monsieur Spoon) are the main highlights. It is also very cozy and its territory is really beautiful. Almost every room has a balcony or an outdoor sitting area. Pool area is great. Staff is really nice and helpful. It feels very homey.

CanadaThe Balanese style rooms had some gaps in the doors/windows that let a couple mosquitos through. I plugged up the biggest hole above the door with a scarf and it was better. They also offer to spray but I prefer to just use a cloth. Nothing more, it was great. Didn't use the restaurant so can't comment.
City central location but quiet, peaceful and green surroundings. Staff friendliness. Pool and area. Beauty of the property. Shower, hot and food pressure. TV with apps available which was a nice treat.

New ZealandThere’s nothing I didn’t like but if you are not comfortable with monkeys, then this part of the property is not for you. Ask for a room closer to the reception area.
I stayed in a bungalow at the rear of the property. Comfy bed, pillows and AC. It was quiet and peaceful overlooking the gardens. There was no traffic noise even though the property is located in Hanoman street in a busy part of town. The pool and restaurant area are lovely and a nice place to relax. The staff are particularly friendly and attentive but not intrusive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Artini 2 Cottages, the staff was really lovely and the premises very beautiful. The pool was awesome, and the location was also just perfect in the heart of Ubud. The staff helped us to rent really good motorbikes, and our trip to Nusa Penida which, however, did not work out well (If you book your trip through the hotel, ask to not to book with Uma Kutuh Sunrise Trekking Tour agency), but the staff neverless tried her best to support us finding our way to Penida, which we highly appreciated. Overall, a really pleasant stay - Suksma banyak.

Wonderful atmosphere, lovely staff. A juice on arrival was delightful. The food was good, but not great. Though it was great value for money, the room was a little underwhelming. Nice but quite basic. Maybe a few more well placed decor items, or something to make the bathrooms seems less bland like a big mirror, to create a feeling of more space? Perhaps upstairs guests can have signs to ask them not to wear shoes indoors? Overall though, a really great place and I’d definitely stay again.
