Tucked away down of one of those extraordinarily intriguing side lanes – steep, narrow and winding, surprising at every corner, and bathed in the fragrances of so many beautiful flowers and plants –right at the very end is Artomoro, a peaceful little haven in the middle of all this magic. We loved it! Set deep in the forest, the garden, our room, the dining terrace in the middle of all this, and especially Gede and his lovely family – they all looked after us wonderfully. Our room and bathroom were immaculate and clean, and a verandah overlooking the forest and deep valley below us, the sky, the moon, the tropical soundscape above and all around us. So beautiful, so peaceful. Gede and Komang prepared and served us fresh and organic food every day. They also provided all sorts of useful information about local places, attractions and experiences. Gede was able to drive us here and there, which was very helpful. His generosity in sharing cultural, historical and religious knowledge made our days there very special.

Family-run homestay, owners are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and spacious. Food is fresh and good. We enjoyed our stay and wished it was longer!

Absolutely home like experience. Gede and his family where fantastic, the food they cooked ( we eat there every morning and evening ), their flexibility in anything and everything and hospitality is out of this world. I can say this is the best-est experience i had in Bali homestay. Rooms where fantastic, super clean and modern, far far away from busy places in Bali. If you need the relaxation and peace, this is the place. You will need taxi for sure because the roads in Munduk is up and down the hills, but Gede offers a fair price, and you will be absolutely safe. I cant recall anything i didnt liked. we had some little issue with the hot water but its been sorted straight away. Gede and His wife will go above and beyond, such a lovely family, if i will be in Munduk again i will be back in a heartbeat.

The price 150k for waterfall drop off/pick up is way too high (approx 10 minutes drive one way).

Very quiet place, no road or any other noise. Very clean, newly renovated. Spacious enough to accommodate our family of four. Approx 10 minutes drive to the start of the waterfalls path (no gojek in this area). The place might feel quite isolated, although from our experience you have to choose between a good night sleep (like here) or being closer to some attractions (expect a lot of noise). Make your own choice.

Everything : - Amazing welcome from Gede and his family. Always available, providing recommandations and advices for our whole trip - Great local food fresh and authentic made by gede's wife - Great room, clean bathroom, no insect while we are in the middle of the jungle. Windows are fully closed and there is a mosquito net. The dream ! - Close to the main area to visit near munduk : waterfallls, lakes, rice terrace. And gede is very helpful to drop us or give us driver recos Thank you again Gede and all our family. We came as guest and we truly feel as part of your family. We will not hesitate to come back again to your place and recommend it to our friends

We loved our stay at Artomoro. Gede is a man of many talents and a wonderful host, we learned a lot about Bali and his life and family which was very special to us. He took us on a very nice tour to waterfalls, jungle trek and spices farm. Artomoro is situated in the jungle, so peaceful and with a beautiful view from the upstairs terrace where we had both breakfast and lovely dinner cooked by Gede and his wife. The room is nice with very comfy beds and there is a nice seating area in front of the room as well.

The Homestay is situated in a beautiful and quiet area surrounded by trees and jungle. The family are lovely, food was delicious and Gede had great advice on where to visit in the Munduk area

Having to leave this wonderful place and such a friendly family.

Gede and Coman's hospitality was exceptional. They did everything they could to make sure our stay with them was enjoyable and relaxing. Their accommodation is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The rooms and dining area have wonderful views within a peaceful, jungle setting. Although situated a little way out of Munduk, Gede provides a free local shuttle and took us to the start of the waterfall walk and the twin lakes walk, picking us up after we'd finished. On our return from a day spent exploring we enjoyed cups of complimentary ginger tea with freshly cooked banana fritters. Gede also offers a driving service for onward journeys. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful and extremely tasty evening meals are also available. We had a wonderful time staying at Artomoro and relished the comfortable, peaceful and relaxing accommodation. We had some really interesting conversations with Gede and learnt more about Balinese life. We highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Gede and Coman for letting us share your corner of paradise.
