One of the best hostel of my trip. It feels like being on a small resort. My stay was pure perfection and I would come back here next time I am in Bali.

Location i was not satisfied about the location but any how everything was good

The bar / kitchen closed quite early at 10pm & the seats etc were covered over at this time too, would’ve been nice to keep the common area open a bit longer

The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom. It’s far from the room, you share it with the whole hostel and the path to the bathroom is uncovered

Everything! The staff is amazing super kind and helpful, they call you by your name. They make your bed, clean the room regularly and prepare great food! The hostel has lots of activities, partnership with the best spa!!

Had a lovely stay at Kuna. Location, food, activities, cleanness, the pool, all is perfect in balance. The thing that stands out most is the friendliness of the people working there. Especially the happy good mornings from Dewa, but also the massages and the rest of the team make your stay unforgettable. A bit expensive for a hostel, but a good pick anyways!

There’s not really much of negative about this stay as this was definitely the best hostel I’ve stayed in. Downfall is the toilets being on the other side of the hostel so may be a little annoying for people that need to go to the toilet during the night but for me personally I had no issues with it.

The beds are so spacious and comfy! You can make your stay as social as you like or as chill as you like. They have lots of activities for you to meet other travellers in a group setting. It’s located away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street in Ubud but is still walkable or a short motorbike ride!

If you are looking for a nice, warm and confy hostel, Kuna Bali is the place. The location is near by the centre. The bed are incredibly comfortable! The dorm are tidy and net. Kuna Bali is a home. Kuna Bali will not be Kuna Bali without his staff members. Everyone is sweet. They will do everything to make your stay magic. Thank you guys ☺️🫂

If you are Asian, you can feel that some of the staff are cold or even a little impatient (the two women in charge of breakfast service at the bar)

I had an amazing 8-day stay at Kuna Hostel in Ubud, Bali. The incredibly friendly staff made me feel right at home, like I was part of a family. One of the hostel’s top priorities is cleanliness, and it truly shows—everything from the beds to the washrooms and shower areas is impeccably maintained 24/7. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the daily activities organized by the hostel added so much to the experience. From family dinners and game nights to cinema nights, yoga sessions, massages, and more, there was always something fun to look forward to. The centerpiece of the hostel is a lovely pool where guests gather to relax, share travel tips, and connect. Their breakfast options are another highlight—healthy, delicious, and served with tea or coffee, offering a great start to the day.

The wifi didn’t work very well in my bed which was at the very back corner of Canggu dorm. Other that that not a complaint!

The rooms are super clean and comfortable, I also noticed they steam the mattresses after each guest checks out and that made me feel even better. Also Nina is fantastic and I hope I get to see her again some day! She made the end of my trip awesome! Thank you!

Nothing, it was the perfect start of my trip. It is a bit expensive for a hostel but it has all the services. Bathroom far from the room (at night)

The pool, the vibe, the delicious pancake breakfast, the healthy smoothies available all day, the fact that the hostel offers tours & activities, the free yoga class & massage, the playlist ;) Also good location in a more quiet area of the city.

Everything was perfect! Large beds, clean dorms and bathrooms! The staff was always ready to help and give some infos. Food was amazing and the travelers i met too!

The bathrooms are not that near to the rooms so can be a little frustrating but it’s not that bad really. Some of the rooms were a little damp but the staff were doing everything to prevent this

Kuna is by far the best place to stay in Ubud, it’s like a little community, the staff are so lovely and helpful, there are loads of activities out on through the hostel at great prices, it’s located a 10 minute walk from the main streets but is far enough away that it is very peaceful. I had the best time at Kuna and would recommend everyone to stay here whilst visiting Ubud!

You had to walk through the pool/communal area to get to the toilets/shower and limited sink/shower space.

Great location. Massage and yoga were a really nice addition. Availability to book tours from the hostel which was really easy - recommend the Mt batur hike. Family dinner and games night. Breakfast included and pancakes were really tasty. Staff really helpful and friendly. Nice dorm room and pool/communal area.

The showers and toilets are too far away from the rooms. I didn’t love that the showers and toilets were mixed and they often needed a clean. The location wasn’t the best in comparison to other hostels.

The 4 bed female room was lovely and had a really great social vibe. The hostel put on some great activities, like the day trip and nights where we socialised with other sister hostel.
